Death666wish you only loose eye sight once. Twice if your lucky and loose one at a time. I've commented about him using a face shield using a death wheel to cut a trans because when death wheels explode it's never pretty. Yes when not if because it happens far too often to say if. But they are a fan of safety squints a little too much apparently. Not even a guard on the bench grinder.
Trevor: "Man I just sorta lost interest in working on the supra right now" Most people: "it's cool man. Take your time it will come out better when you are motivated to do it anyway" Trevor: "I gained motivation to work on it so I'm going to cram videos out doing more work to the car than I have since almost the beginning in less videos than videos of sanding it" 😂😂😂😂 hey I enjoy watching and I'm glad you are finally getting it together it's just funny to see how much you've done so fast compared to the beginning lol
That just goes to show that Trevor is a real car guy when he said the welds don’t look good but at least I did them unlike some other car youtubers that would just get them done professionally great work man keep it up
Your attention to detail is top notch and gets me stoked! It's been amazing watching this build and the fact that you take the time to film your own fabrication shows your dedication and enjoyment as well. You also explain things further to help some understand, and that is definitely admirable. Keep it up
I watch ads on here i skip everywhere else. loving this daily stuff been excited about the supra since it's arrival but I'm definitely intrigued to see what the future holds as you progress keep up the good work
N VD97 imagine all that boost hitting a wall when the throttle body closes. Either it escapes out of the BOV right away (if mounted close to the TB) or that pent up boost pressure will travel almost all the way back to the turbo before it can be vented opening up the possibility to spin the turbo backward which can destroy it(eventually) Plus it is just not good to have that delay before the boost is vented. The faster it escapes, the more the turbo will keep spinning which can improve boost levels after shifting etc.
these daily vids are so satisfying with the fitt out! after all those hours we spent watching sanding this is so satisfying i cant imagine how good it feel for u bro,,, loving it :)
Excited for the downpipe pie cuts and back-purging! So I wonder if you are going to go with the GT350R brakes on the front do you plan on going dual caliper in the rear?
I just watched a video the other day that explained the confusion people have with thinking not having a blow off valve will hurt the turbo and cause it to backspool, when in fact it doesn't. The sound a turbo makes when it doesn't have a BOV and the intake closes is it just slowing the turbo down. The turbine turns too much rpm to be backspooled.
Put the BOV on the hot side beside the intercooler if you are running high boost levels, if its too close to the throttle body it can surge it and throw codes and open the butterfly and blah, just causes issues
i did a trick similar to that wire wheel only mine was on the bench.. ended up with a big piece of wire buried in my cheek just near my eye... not a good idea running with no eye or face protection with an open wire wheel..
Dang man this thing is going to be insane when done! Been watching sine you got the car from almost scrap condition and since I am not at a place to work on cars at the moment I am having to live vicariously though you. Thanks for all the hard work getting to footage together. Cheers from Park City
Surge doesn’t “blow the turbo backwards”. The blades chop through the air making that sound. If the blades went from spinning over 100,000 rpm to instantly spinning backwards you’d have catastrophic results.
If your going to leave the silicone couplers on the intercooler you should have saved the money and did all the connections in silicone. Put the VanJen clamps on the intercooler and do it right
i dont think it matters to much what side the bov on, if you were building it for emmisions i would put it on hot side so you can recirculate the air back to air filter box, but you dont need to worry about that stuff so where you put it should be fine
You are spoiling me with the daily uploads 😂
Bruh, am telling you
A tip : watch movies on Kaldrostream. I've been using them for watching lots of of movies during the lockdown.
@Rene Gerald yup, I've been using kaldrostream for since december myself :D
Killing it with the daily uploads
Wesley Green that's right
Facts bro
Best channel on TH-cam. Leave everything to come watch these vids
Guys, safety glasses are cheap, buy some for the shop man! Eye sight is priceless.
Death666wish yup my cousin caught a grinder wheel to the face and chest

True definition of "BUILT, NOT BOUGHT!" Like some other youtubers. 👌👌👌
If I was getting a car built, it would be this guy doing it. Love the attention to detail.

Seeing this car finally start coming 100% together is so surreal, remember when it wasn't even in primer yet
Man that engine is clean and beautiful
That just goes to show that Trevor is a real car guy when he said the welds don’t look good but at least I did them unlike some other car youtubers that would just get them done professionally great work man keep it up
“Not now Facebook.. im at work.. *MotionAutoTV uploaded a video* IM TAKING A BREAK.”
The black vibrant clamps on the polished intercooler piping looks sick,,,,smash like for supra jewelry!!!!!
Always excited to see what comes after “WE MAKE THESE STREETS....”
You build videos destroy all other build videos ... keep up the good work 👌
Love all the progress getting done on this beast. 💪🏼

Love the daily videos. My favorite build on TH-cam. Your attention to detail and easy going attitude goes a long way in making your videos enjoyable.
I watch ads on here i skip everywhere else. loving this daily stuff been excited about the supra since it's arrival but I'm definitely intrigued to see what the future holds as you progress keep up the good work
I watch it yesterday from part 1 until today, I'm not getting best sleep until this beast start up 😂
Put that bov on the cold side by the throttle body
Yep. BOV should be as close to the TB as you can get it.
Why?
N VD97 imagine all that boost hitting a wall when the throttle body closes. Either it escapes out of the BOV right away (if mounted close to the TB) or that pent up boost pressure will travel almost all the way back to the turbo before it can be vented opening up the possibility to spin the turbo backward which can destroy it(eventually) Plus it is just not good to have that delay before the boost is vented. Daniel G Thanks, didn't know that
This build has come a long way man, almost there
I'm so stoked on this, it looks like we're gonna hear some 2j sounds soon!!
you and Dave need to race the supra and the 3000gt whenever both of you are done building
AFX Gaming I love ol Dave boy... But the supra will walk him
Alexander Helton yeah since it's gonna have so much boost, but I think it would be interesting to see the cars together racing or something
yea who is going to sop beter
This thing is going to be sick
I remember when you bought those massive calipers! I woulda snagged them too if they were a good enough deal. Great job on the daily uploads.
these daily vids are so satisfying with the fitt out! after all those hours we spent watching sanding this is so satisfying i cant imagine how good it feel for u bro,,, loving it :)
Love this Supraweek :)
It's gonna be glorious when you crank this baby on. Looking forward to that, been watching since the beginning.
trev wen u and dave get together u guys are dangerous😂😂😂
This guy good much respect
How is it that you don’t have over 500k let alone 1 million subs your videos are the best hands down🙌
This Supra is going to be famous!
Fabrication game is Mint Trevor, looks awesome like everything else. 🏁🏁🏁🏁🏁
this channel is part of me now
BOV looks sooooo good in that spot
Tig welding tip pour a bit of water over your weld then take a air gun from the other side and if theres and leaks you will see bubbles
That’s where my bov was at on mine- damn it’s sounded good right there! Awesome progress sir!
Can’t wait for the startup!
Sooo clean Trev, very nicely done! It's coming together, slowly but surely..
I love that you’ve been posting a lot about the Supra 🖤
I am loving these daily vids!
That daily supra content getting me spoiled!
Love watching this as I'm in the middle of my supra build as well. Just like I was in the middle of my evo build when you had an evo 🤘
Excited for the downpipe pie cuts and back-purging! So I wonder if you are going to go with the GT350R brakes on the front do you plan on going dual caliper in the rear?
Damn Trevor that motor is beautiful great job...Dave is the man too.. suprabeast ..
Your missing a o-ring on that clamp, it should have one on each pipe.
Can not wait for this to be done
New word for Big brakes: Big-o-canoes
Best run of uploads in a while, keep it up, great progress
Stoked on the pace you've picked up on this lately, looking good

Very impressed how much time and work you put into the supra. Will definitely be a good looking car when done.
Put the BOV on the hot side beside the intercooler if you are running high boost levels, if its too close to the throttle body it can surge it and throw codes and open the butterfly and blah, just causes issues
Those couplers are pretty rad. You have great quality of work man.
U are getting so close good stuff Trevor
damn Trevor you're crazy good at what you do good job that thing is looking good
i did a trick similar to that wire wheel only mine was on the bench.. ended up with a big piece of wire buried in my cheek just near my eye... not a good idea running with no eye or face protection with an open wire wheel..
Grumpy OldMan I never understand people who take risks with their eyes. NOT WORTH IT!
Loving the daily videos... This mk4 is gonna be super sick
Dang man this thing is going to be insane when done! Been watching sine you got the car from almost scrap condition and since I am not at a place to work on cars at the moment I am having to live vicariously though you. Thanks for all the hard work getting to footage together. Cheers from Park City
started watching your channel from the first supra video, and oh boy that engine bay looks so sexy, each time makes a smile on my face
Epic build. Best one yet! Vibrant clam shell is a baller ass silicone coupler :) worth every dollar!
Love The Progress
DAILY UPLOAD HYPE
watched from day 1...great job!!

Wastegate on the turbo housing mate. Gives best response
you should definitely grind down those welds and paint those pipes silver like the valve covers
If your going to leave the silicone couplers on the intercooler you should have saved the money and did all the connections in silicone. Put the VanJen clamps on the intercooler and do it right
yesssssssssssss moreee supra looky time!!!! go trev go!
Amazing work man! Love from sweden
Love you Tevor James keep the vids coming my man
Your build is sick been watching since your 1st upload bro. I as well stay in Colorado maybe we will see you in a car meet when it's all done
got a little to excited when i sat this notification
Can't wait for the first burnout
Use power stop brake pads and braided stainless steel hoses. Car will stop really good
i dont think it matters to much what side the bov on, if you were building it for emmisions i would put it on hot side so you can recirculate the air back to air filter box, but you dont need to worry about that stuff so where you put it should be fine
Awesome video man keep it up. Car looks amazing
@MotionAutoTv If i remember right Supra calipers are half aluminium and half cast iron. LS400 calipers both peaces are aluminium.
The grinder in the beginning sounded like a mazda rotary motor😂😂😂😂
Its almost done omg ❤️❤️
Daily uploads on point
It’s sooo close👌
Yes please notification squad
Can definitely tel you got motivation back to work on the Supra
Amazing Progress! Keep up the good work. :)
I signed up for the mothly support. Keep it up big homie!
Trevor is so awesome wish I could meet him in person I'd like to learn from him he's so cool
Love the supra videos
I still remember when you first got the Supra..
Looks amazing!🤙
You only installed 1 o-ring on the intake side it is supposed to have 2 o-rings.
Goes like tutututuu 😂
Man do you have any time frame on when the project will be done I can’t wait to see this Supra spinning on the road. 🚗🚗🚗🚗
Loving these vids 👍
If you have trouble with the boots on the intercooler couldn't you put the vibrant clamps
Lube up those o rings on those vibrant hd clamps they dry out quick
Clamps look cool but I reckon those o rings will leak after a while, especially at high boost...kinda like the oem vw intercooler o rings do...
Looking awesome dude.
