Photographing the Red Deer Rut-Wildlife Photography

This video is about photographing the red deer rut. I had a fantastic morning of photography with atmospheric mist really adding to the mood. Stags bellowing in the mist, what more can you want. Then the next day I witnessed a full on deer rut, very exciting. I love this time of year, the deer rut in the UK really kicks off the autumn season for me.

Busy time of year for the deer so plenty of shots to be had. The Stags have a haunting sound to them. Always remember to keep your distance...🙂👍

Hi, Steve, another great outing to shoot the rutting stags, puts my shots of the seals in the shade, but we both get the enjoyment of doing photography and taking shots like that.

Awesome Stuff Steve! I know that I love to go to see the elk and photograph them especially now that I have purchased the Sigma 150-600 C. That's a real game changer when I was used to the Canon 75-300. Thanks for sharing! That was great!

I was there last week doing the same. And at the end of the day just as the gates were shutting I got an image of a little owl as a bonus! Total luck but was over the moon

Great experience Steve, people around here recommend Bushy park in London as well ! I get them in the New Forest here in the South. Love the opening mist shots with the bellowing awesome !
