I ve been studying your videos for over 2 years now, and executing them as well. I just joined a boxing gym last week. Right away the trainers and staff asked me what gym do I box at and thought I had good technical skills allready . Thanks for you videos they gave me the confidence to finally join a gym
+Isaac Sanchez Cool, have you purchased any of my instructional videos? They are way better and will cut your learning time in half! - www.precisionstriking.com/shop/
Your coach is giving you good advice for the most part. All those right hooks in my video are intended for the body. If you lower your levels its a safe bet, but right hooks upstairs leave you pretty wide open, better off to throw the overhand right.
This is seriously some great stuff that one actually learns after a few solid years in Boxing. Therefore learning this early on as a beginner I feel extremely lucky to have you as my Coach. 🥊
I'm pretty sure I can speak for anyone who wants to learn the proper techniques of boxing that your videos are some of the best here. I'm a beginner and had no idea how much skill is involved with boxing. Really for me being a smaller guy at 5'10 170 it's not about being huge it's more skill and conditioning. Anyway, thanks for the help it's much appreciated.
you have to exhale when ur slipping. dont hold ur breath. if ur still out of breath it means ur conditioning isnt on par with ur work rate, basically u need to get in better shape with inside fighting. have entire shadow and heavybag workouts on the inside and exhale when u slip and punch. inhale when u get a split second break
I have a pretty big bout coming up, and your videos are most helpful. I def needed to see this one. I have a bad habbit of staying squared up. So, this is def helpful. Thank you
i would say not to worry about the small details for now, just make sure your non punching hand is on your chin and that you turn your body into your shot and that you have good extension on your punch that enables you to hit the target.
Been following your videos since I started learning boxing 8 months ago, Seriously you are the best I've witnessed at what you do. Absolutely amazing how much progression I've made and confidence I feel from learning boxing from scrap with only your videos . Thanks alot brother! God bless!
thank you, but i mean you have to go to my website, the link is in the description of the video. On the right hand side you will see a subscriptions offer. I appreciate the support.
Props for coming up with this angle to shoot this video from. The mirror behind of you is immensely helpful to see the details, how low do you duck, how much donyou bend at the waist, knees etc.
I LOVE this! because the person I spar with is a lot taller than me and have a further range, I am going to apply all these, specially the fact that I CANNOT let my head still for even a second.
Amazing workout. I try to emulate your moves and combos and practice every day, want to become as fast and fluid one day. Can you please do some more videos like this one, maybe give us some tips or mental insight on how to focus and get everything in sync, the body motion and different combos, and how to gradually develop that speed and coordination? You are a real deal. Thank you for these videos.
Man I'm a vagabond missin a dojo and you're seriously gettin my ass into a gym once I'm done traveling. Done some Aikido but I'm practicing strikes and your attitude, dedication, and damn smooth slips are such an inspiration. Thanks for sharing
great drill! im a shorter guy with an aggressive inside fighting style but my coach always busts my ass about moving my head. ive been workin some rolls dips slips and pulls and adding combos between. now i can use this put it all together and smooth it out!
flexibility is important, its not the most important thing but you can't ignore it. Just look up some basic flexibility exercises online and stik to them, the key with flexibility is patience and consistency
hi jason, morning from manchester, uk. heres how my workouts are shaping up. i`m sure you`re not that fussed, but it`s just some feedback for you so you know your uploads are being put into practice. i did your footwork workout as a warm-up, 8 x 3min rounds on heavybag, a quick kettlebell/bodyweight circuit, and this shadow session to finish. 10 min yoga to cooldown and i`m done, and in shape. thanks again for your hints and tips, much appreciated.
Great stuff as always. Beautiful boxing and brilliant teaching. For those who haven't copped the advanced footwork video from dude, I recommend doing so. For $20 it is well worth it.
Yes, you can move like a boxer, snap punches like a boxer, hit hard like a boxer. But without sparring it will be very difficult to understand the fight dynamic and real defense. You could hit the bag for years, then spar and gas out in one round lol. To be legit you need to spar, to hit hard you just need to train
Well, thank you very much for quick answer. I'll make sure to look closer at your channel. It's like treasure island for someone like me who just started boxing recently.
thanks for these videos. Im planning on attending a gym here in my area, and any knowledge of boxing technique ive aquired from videos like these and from sparring friends that box. Ive practiced alot of it on a daily basis and can definitely see improvement in myself, although i still havent gotten around to going to an actual gyml
I think it depends which kind you get, Reyes has a bag glove line, I bought a pair 5 years ago and they are still going well, they just dont look or smell nice lol
good video..gonna implement this in my training...never thought about putting myself in a corner and shadow boxing that way. Im 5ft 7 and about to spar someone 5 11. good stuff.
THANK YOU! :) I worked this into my work out routine and it helped me when I was sparring at my Karate tournament and I won first place. Yes, I study at a Karate dojo, but I take techniques from other martial arts that I believe will help me. I don't believe in "styles." BTW, I'm a taller guy, 6'3", and it still helped. Thanks again.
damn what an awesome video. My dad boxed in the U.S. Marine Corps. Grew up with a heavy bag in the garage! Subscribed to your channel, thanks for putting out some great vids.
Thanks! I have a professionally shot new instructional video coming out in about 6 weeks which will break down everything. Hopefully you'll look into getting it.
Great drill coach! I'm actively taking up boxing seriously now. I played college football but currently work in investment banking. I've always had a passion for boxing. The drills I've picked up from you has my coach really considering entering me into a real fight within the year. We'll see!! lol! Hard work, dedication....
Dude, you are like a dancer! Always pleasing the eye to watch :) And damn u bugged that camera, I think u should get yourself a fast motion one- u know , the ones they use to track flying bullets and arrows lol :D You are a great trainer. Blessed are those who know you and train with you. You'r a rockin' rollin' man haha \m/
these vids are the best, Can we get a video on how to throw a Shoe Shine combination in the future? Ray Leonard always Awed me with his and I always wanted to learn ever since i seen him destroy Ulrich Breyer in the Olympics in the first 20 seconds of their fight.

Best online coach without question
I agree!
Him and Shane Fazen @ fightTIPS are amazing. Also, look up Firas Zahabi. Between these 3 guys, I'm sure there's nothing that hasn't been covered
Shane.this dude..and the Asian dude
my pleasure, keep your hands busy and go easy on the head movement at first, that will definitely get you dizzy early on.
Your coach is giving you good advice for the most part. All those right hooks in my video are intended for the body. If you lower your levels its a safe bet, but right hooks upstairs leave you pretty wide open, better off to throw the overhand right.
I like the mirror in the back it provides a second angle. You should do more multiple angles. Another good video.
im completely blown away, this guy's got mad skills
Your great man, you have the cardio of a Olympic track champ. Crazy!
Your vids are great ,another awesome one.U got good cardio, not easy working and talking.
