It's a very specific kind of hamster ... The only wild one in West-Europe . In the Netherlands it lives in Limburg . It's called Korenwolf . Most hamsters have lighter colored bellies , a Korenwolf's belly is black .
Found another wildlife photographer mistaken about the animal in their photograph. The photo titled 'sign language' states below it: "a gorilla speaks fluent sign language" when in fact it is a full grown chimpanzee in the photograph, not a gorilla. But once again, the photo itself is hilarious. And I guess that is the whole point of the competition. But I wanted to post the correct information so people unfamiliar with wildlife would know what animal they were actually seeing in the photo.
Most emphatically YES! They are geese! Ever heard the term long necked goose? Well there they are. Two or three times the size of ducks, with necks 5 to 7 times as long!
I know right?! I was stunned by that too! In fact, how does almost nobody watching pick that out, despite having plenty of time? People are just so oblivious! This isn't trash, but in general they don't care what kind of trash they watch, as long as nothing drags them off the couch. The laziness of Americans is just STUNNING! And Republican or Democrat, they're all a bunch of brainwashed sheep. It's really unbelievable they've allowed this to happen! My dad used to rail against the effects of dumbed down tv in the early 1970s! It was pretty bad then too, but at least people didn't voluntarily spend their whole life watching it then, and gaining an extra hundred pounds or 2 or 3! At the time an extra 40 pounds on woman or man was considered enormously unhealthy. Now no-one cares about a few hundred, and we are shamed if we comment on it! With the way nobody cares about anything but Netflix and food, you'd almost think that Putin had poisoned all the water or something. I donno WTF is going on, but it ain't good.
Thanx a lot for this beautiful pictures and relaxing music, and for all your hard work!! I really love and preciate it!! The Lord will bless and keep you for ever!! Thank you very very much!!
Apparently one wildlife photographer doesn't know their wildlife too well. The photo titled 'Swan Intimidates Ducks' should read 'Swan Intimidates Geese'. Personally I could would never have mistaken those two birds for ducks, as they were so obviously geese. But if someone is uncertain if a bird is a duck or a goose, they need to pay attention to the bill shape. Ducks have flat, rounded, or spoon shaped bills, and geese have what we typically refer to as a beak, a pointed shaped bill. Though both words are synonymous with one another, a bill is a beak, and a beak is a bill. But I must say, I enjoyed the photograph of the Swan intimidating the geese nonetheless. It is usually geese who are intimidating other animals and people. Thank you for this very comical and enjoyable video.
Swans actually do intimidate ducks, which are usually quite respectful, but seagulls are not always respectful. My son saw a swan drown a seagull for insubordination, after which all the seagulls in the pond became very respectful.
@@petrahartog5934 Practically nobody caught that, in spite of glaringly obvious it is! I was just stunned to see how far down in the comments I had to go to find someone else who picked that out, in spite of having a super long view of it! You are the only 2nd other comment on it I've found, beyond my own. Apparently there are other egregious mistakes too, but I got sidetracked by the geese and haven't resumed watching yet. 😉 ✌🏼
I was fascinated by the closeup photo of the giraffe ("Lick Your Lips"), by Stephen Biddlecombe: it was just a floating head, with no perceivable body. I'm stumped.
Same here. I paused the video to check: no neck, no body. Round the giraffe’s right ear (especially the tip) and left cheek it looks like there’s fringing suggesting some photoshopping. Either that or someone threw a giraffe’s head over the fence: which would be a more impressive feat by the photographer who captured the moment.
I"m guessing the people who made the video are the ones who called the wrong species on several of the photos. It didn't irritate me as much as the videos posted of Orangutans that call them monkeys. All the same it was fun to watch.
Absolutely delightful. The only negative is the terrible soundtrack. To really enjoy it turn the sound off. Where do they find such irritating and annoying music?
It’s a shame the video reduces the size of the image, I watch TH-cam on my phone and can’t really enjoy the images for more that a couple of seconds before it’s shrunk down and kicked to the side. Oh well.
The guinea pig, "I'm late, I'm late, for a very important date".
It’s a wild hamster actually.
It is a hamster in the picture, not a guinea pig. Very big difference between the 2 animals.
But it identified as a guinea pig...
@@haroldwilkes6608 It's not. It's a hamster. They misidentified several of the animals in the video.
Haven't had such a pleasant time in forever. Thank you!!!!❤
The "rush hour" animal is a hamster! not a guinea pig!
So weird people can still confuse the two different species in this era of free information access and several seconds of Google search. 😐
They allow the stupidest mistakes!
Hahahahah!

@HamsterHammy And the intimidated "ducks" were geese, the finger flipping "gorilla" a chimp, and the amazed "baboon" was a macaque. Sheesh.
A sheer delight, wonderful photography….thank you all, humans with patience I can only read about.!
Unbelievable ~ wonderful to watch these brilliant photographers, who were there just at the right moment!🌟💕
Just superb, everyone of them. Great job everyone well done. Love watching all
The two swan-scared ducks are geese! Fowl play Get you ducks in a row.
That is exactly what I said to myself. Geese, not ducks.

There are countless errors of the same kind in this video! Glaringly obvious ones! It's quiet unbelievable! And this is a wildlife organization?!
That swan was intimidating 2 geese!!
This is 10 years ago,! Nice pics....
"Swan intimidates Ducks"
.... aren't these Geese?
Most emphatically YES! They are geese! Ever heard the term long necked goose? Well there they are. Two or three times the size of ducks, with necks 5 to 7 times as long!
Terrificly talented photographers!. Turned my otherwise blah day into one with a smile!
Love
How could they not know what they’re photographing? Last one was a hamster; the “ducks” with the swan were geese!
Still loved the photos, though.
"You haven't seen me", is funny and adorable as well.
For those who dislike the music, turn the sound off.
That is the first thing I did.
Whatever is wrong with the music?
Love the music
5:37 how does a wildlife foundation and wildlife photographer not know the difference between ducks and geese?

Nodded my head to keep time with the music the whole video.😊
Dziękuję za podarowanie mi urody świata
Loved them all. Thank-you.🙂
The "Rush Hour" photo is not a guinea pig. That is a hamster with its cheek pouches full of food!
Absolutely a hamster! 👍
Definitely a hamster.
10:43 is not a baboon. It's a long tailed (crab eating) macaque.
Edit to add : Also 11:20 is not a gorilla. It's a chimpanzee.
the ducks are geese and the guinea pig is a wild hamster.
"Swan intimidates GEESE"
Amazing and wonderful -such talents, patience and . . . luck! Congratulations to all.
Great pics. Fire your music editors
FYI, that is NOT a guinea pig! It is a hamster.
I don't mind the music, just turned the volume down a bit.
Precious and adorable animals!😍❤️🥰

When Sinbad saw that three headed giraffe, he whipped out his sword and prepared for battle. 😁
The antelope with the bird in it's ear........"can you hear me now?"
Enjoy them while we can,!!!!!!!
Love the photos. PLEASE, change spelling on Owl photo from “to wet to woo” to “ too wet to woo”. Thank you.
Thank you. Loved this.
Swan intimidates ducks- the ducks look like geese
Swan intimidates ducks? They look like geese to me.
You are correct.
And I’d say the lion with the “Donald Trump hair” isn’t fair. That lion has beautiful hair! 🤣
So does DJ
Everything about Trump is beautiful, just ask any American, we love him more than any president that has been or will be.

I always watch these with the sound muted
I’ve seen quite a few of these in slideshows that are supposed to represent other years
How did these photographers time their shots just right?
The first one - 2 zebras.... the elephant in the room!
Oh do put it away!
I loved the music that u played, would u mind telling me the name of it please, thank u.
Hi Viv, it's called: "Quarantine Waltz" by Nat Keefe & Hot Buttered Rum. Thanks,
Thankyou so much. Great music as well❤️

How to feed the youtube algorithm. Make a few "mistakes" so people can point them out in comments.
There were quite a few animals that were misidentified.
Beautiful photos...music OK too😊😊❤❤❤❤
Love the music ❤
Swan intimidates geese, not ducks!
I don't wish to sound picky but the English captions are translations from another language by a non-English speaker.

Not a Guinea pig, it’s a hamster
I liked the music. Thank you for this mature moment.
Fantastic thankyou 😀
Great pics but that music
I loved the music! Just a matter of taste, I guess.
