I failed to update my personal calculation sheet for the chance on computers and ended up with way too much plastic in my first refinery. Took me 3 days to find out why the belts were clogged when they should have fit just right. My biggest respect that you still can re-understand and change your old production spots. And all those belts look so nice, despite beeing "back in the days were we had not straight belt option".
There's a menu option in 1.0 that wasn't in the previous releases where you can select NOT to lose your inventory upon death. You're just respawned back at the Hub with no death crate to search for. I'm very grateful for that option!
Yeah, the game was a lot more enjoyable without having to worry about trying to get your inventory back while running naked into a nest of nuclear hogs
Fun fact. You can also throw the uranium into the dimensional depot although it will drain the suit until it finishes loading. Tested that out of curiosity, not because it serves any real purpose...
I just went through a bunch of recipe change fixes in my factory I migrated to 1.0, though honestly I mostly just had to rebalance things and actually remove a bunch of production i no longer need. Like for the assembly directors production chain they need heavy modular frames and computers, which used to both need screws. Now computers dont need any screws but the production of heavy modular frames now need more screws, so my screw production actually stayed almost the same overall for that production line. However that same production line now needs almost twice as many computers and I had to rebalance my entire plastic production as a result
The full heal health inhalers are now a pretty useful investment. There's a good deal of enemies that will insta you if you arent at almost full health
If you just upload your hdds, spheres, slugs, and sloops to your Dimensional Depot as soon as you get them you don't necessarily have to go back for your death crate.
Yeah, my editor and I were just talking about that. The source footage is clean. I think we just need to double check our export settings. Thanks for the feedback!
@@jembawls TH-cam encoding also hurts a lot. Try exporting to 1440p even if it wasn't 1440p or more. Apparently it gets TH-cam to use better encoding so the bitrate sucks less.
That lift not connecting... That is because the game is refusing to snap to the snappoints if there is something else nearby. I REALLY wish they would fix that bug. The line is CLEARLY there to snap to, the game just refuses (unless you remove the other merger/splitter next to it). If you try to do it "by hand", it might be built a few pixels wrong so it won't snap. PLEASE FIX THIS CSS!!!
why go all the way to the swamp for SAM ore when there's 2 good nodes near his main factory. there's a normal node in the massive cave to the west of his main facility and another not far north the the end of a peninsula in the spire coast.
It just keeps sounding strange that jace of all people asks us how things in this game work ie the summersloops. The guy that informed us for years about features and updates of the game
Just do what I do, encase your shame in concrete and move on to the next mistake

17:35 Neat trick: You can use the dismantle tool to quick skim things like train wagons to find what you need from a distance

First thing I did in 1.0.
The death crate run was never fun for me.
This was a feature that was in the works while I was still at CSS! Nice that it’s finally out to y’all.
Yeah, the game was a lot more enjoyable without having to worry about trying to get your inventory back while running naked into a nest of nuclear hogs
I just cheat and reload the last save before I died. I will go find this setting. Thank you kind sir.
Throw rare items you find (like mercers and sloops) right into the dimensional depot as soon as you gather them. that makes death less painful.

The real end boss of Satisfactory: Maths

Glad you were able to get it working!
Oooooh...the click! I've always wasted time setting up a test to make sure it connects. THX!
I had missed that change as well. So for 6 EIB per min, the per min rate changes from 30 to 36 concrete and 24 to 18 steel beams.
I did the *exact* same thing with the Uranium.
Then ran back and did it again!
SAME BRAIN CELL! xD
Much appreciated Jace, it assists enormously.
When you get the chance type "Thanks Jace, helps a lot" in the Satisfactory chat
So many great Easter eggs.
Thanks Jace Helps a Lot! Especially you just being human. Love ya man
There are no mistakes in Ficsit, only design modifications.

Glad I am not the only one who parachutes and eats like crazy to stay alive

Yes, upload everything. I keep a pretty lean inventory now, so death is no longer near as frustrating.
@@smstnitci mean keep inventory is a normal game option now if you die that much. Not advanced settings anymore. Can turn it on or off anytime
@@ppeez Yeah but, and hear me out, dimensional depot is sick

you can just hover over a machine and ctrl+c/v...?
...
I hate my life.
How did you not know 😭
I would recommend watching a QoL/tips and trick video on 1.0. Theres probably so much more you dont know about
Even knowing about copy+paste, I spent a lot of hours going into the interface to do it.
I assigned it to m4 and m5 on mouse and that marginally increased my QOL
Think you need to increase your video/upload bitrate if you can, it's struggling often. Hypertube especially, back to 320p we go!

Panic-mining Uranium, and then being unable to drop it in time: #1 reason for death :) loool
Just for information. The sumersloops multiply the power needed to 4x.
Lol I died to that sphere in the uranium too... only once though
19:01 no the docking 🥵🥵🥵

I know the guy above already said it but you ABSOLUTELY NEED TO DO THIS type thanks jace helps a lot in the chat

*You should be able to double dimensional storage every item! Even up to 4 per item!!! Even more than that should be possible!!*

Quoting Charlie the Unicorn is too rich! Glub glub!
Was skipping through the video cause I hadn't much time at that point and the whole time it was playing I was just hearing random numbers xD
How come the bit rate is low?
Some issue with the export of the project and we didn't notice until after the video was live. We're gonna look into it for future videos!
Wait until the dark matter part...
Anyone else get poor video quality? Can you record locally for youtube upload vs using the stream?
There was an issue with the export, we’re looking into resolving it for future videos.
Uhm, actualllly, it is pronounced Somers-loop, as it is named after Dr. Somers, and a loop.
It just keeps sounding strange that jace of all people asks us how things in this game work ie the summersloops.

You should really embrace the dimensional depots instead of picking from these massive trains.
Love you Jace, but your factories ...
What about them? I’m just an average player playing the game my own way and having fun, I’m not trying to prove anything to anyone. Stop shaming.
