@@SchoolPrincipalReacts you mentioned in this episode labor union in another episode accidents will happen they have an osha person check out the workforce after sqidward is injured on the job
Fun Fact about this episode. In the German Dub when Squidward is flattened on the ground he actually quotes German poet, Bertolt Brecht: "First comes a full stomach. Then comes ethics."
"Nobody gives a cares about the fate of labor as long as they get their instant gratification." That is so true to life, considering what we've been doing on a daily basis for years whether it's our phones or food, ect.
*My recommendations based on character* Krabs: "Arrgh!" Squidward: "Employee of the Month" Patrick: "The Fry cook Games" or "No Weenies Allowed" Sandy: "Texas" Puff: "Krusty Love" Plankton: "Plankton's Army" Misc: "Neptune's Spatula". A long week but it's worth it for such a fun reaction to classic Spongebob 💛 Tbh this one isn't even on my Top 10 Krabs or Squidward episodes, but it was a ton of fun, super glad you enjoyed it so much
I really hope he gets around to that teacher strike episode sometime! I'm VERY curious to hear his commentary on that one! TBH, I wish he'd react to all of Hey Arnold, or at the very least all of the school episodes.
Another episode I'd recommend is "Selling Out" from Season 4. That one is one of the rare moments of Mr. Krabs actually caring about the wrongdoings made to the Krusty Krab and doing something right rather than taking advantage of the situation just to gain money or manipulate SpongeBob.
@mystery8820 True. Mr. Krabs may not be a good person when it comes to being cheap, but it's so weird how oftens he lets his daughter talk to him like that.
I forgot how good this episode was. Every moment is pure comedic gold. Especially Squidward's nightmare where he and SpongeBob are still on strike several decades later. 😆
Hey Brandon! Sorry I’m late to this reaction 😢 I love your videos! Your reactions always make me laugh and smile when I’m having a hard day! Also, I feel like Mr. Krabs’s behavior would get the Krusty Krab shut down for labor violations 😂
10:30 you just reminded me, there's an episode where there is actually a fry cook who IS actually as good as him. The guys name is jim. "The original fry cook" is the name of the episode
Spongebob getting taken advantage of is actually the plot of a few episodes, like "The Abrasive Side", "Appointment TV", and "The Sponge Who Could Fly" to a lesser extent
Gotta love your laughing. Such a great reaction. Beathing and existing are required for living, not to mention working. XD SpongeBob's dream is working at the Krusty Krab and his whole life revolves around it. How he makes any money though is a good question...
YOU NEED TO WATCH THE EPISODE WHERE THEY REVEAL THE FRYCOOK BEFORE SPONGEBOB!! When you were talking about how theres not other fry cooks as good as spongebob this episode immediately came to my mind! Its called “the original fry cook”
There actually is labor enforcement in bikini bottom. In a later episode Mr. Krabs urges SpongeBob to take a vacation so the union doesn’t give him a fine.
I think Squidward was correct to demand the respect of Mr. Krabs. I think part of Squidward getting SpongeBob to go on strike was because he thought in this case that they both deserved better treatment in the work place which I definitely agree. I look at Squidward being lazy as a side effect of Mr Krabs being authoritarian and greedy instead vice versa
We love a good union. 💛 Speaking of, S02E06 ("Monster") and S05E06 ("Lucky Strike") of MTV's Daria both involve striking unions. One is about the students doing a project for their English class, and the other is the teachers going on strike while negotiating a new contract with the principal.
Love how many jokes are in this episode. Good for a laugh. "Not a picket fence, a picket sign!" Also now that I'm older that "I don't know what he's yelling about, but he has a megaphone" hits home pretty well.
I would recommend watching “Employee of the Month” if you’re still looking for things to react too. I think you’ll like the antics in that episode. Also, thx for listening to my recommendation and watching this episode!! (Idk if you were already planning on watching)
There is a theory that squidward is SpongeBob's guardian. The theory is that SpongeBob's parents are very wealthy and they hire squidward to be his guardian which is why they can afford working at the krusty krab. So maybe squidward convincing SpongeBob to strike is his way of looking out for him.
I would say that this episode is one of the most realistic episodes (except for the ending of course) from the series so far. I think it's really crazy that they're covering this topic in a series like this ^^
I'm i the only that thinks Squidward and Bert from Sesame Street are essentially the EXACT same character? They’re both skinny, introverted, unibrowed and long nosed grumps with a nasally voice who want nothing more than a moment of peace and quite, but thanks to someone far more upbeat and fun loving they live near (Ernie/ Spongebob and Patrick), they never can. Idk, just an observation I’ve made.
15:10 That is an example of a scab. A strikebreaker, he isn't here to support the strike, he broke past the picket line and makes negotiations difficult.
Bikini Bottom police will sleep on a bank robbery but when somebody litters they call in the swat team Makes sense because the ocean is a very fragile ecosystem and the lightest litter can kill sea life

The episode "The Original Frycook" includes a Frycook who worked at the Krusty Krab before SpongeBob, who came to visit the Krusty Krab. Who's also better at making Krabby Patties than SpongeBob? However, the Frycook later explains why he quit working for Mr. Krabs.
@@SchoolPrincipalReacts Funny thing is this isn't even his cheapest moment. He sold Spongebob's soul (something he does not own in the first place) for 62 cents.

confused by Mr. Karb's plan to charge Sponge Bob and Squidward during work. I mean, the whole point of going to work is to make money; if you're going to lose money, then there is no point of work.
I’m trying to think of an episode of SpongeBob with a similar caliber of comedy to this one. A close one that comes to mind would be “No Weenies Allowed”.
5:30 Speaking of a department of labor or wage enforcement. There's an episode with HR involved in the Krusty Krab. The episode is called "Selling Out" from season four.
Actually Spongebob isn't the best fry cook. There's an episode in Season 5 called The Original Frycook where the first frycook of the krusty krabs comes and visits the restaurant. He's a world-class frycook who's actually miles better than Spongebob. It's really good episode cause Spongebob ends up training under this frycook and learns a lot of life lessons from him.
Actually I don’t think squidward is taking advantage of him here he’s actually helping him and being 100 real with him ( someone has to) he didn’t need him to go on strike he could have just gone himself but he let him tag along with him so he actually being helpful lets be real

The voice actor for the orange police fish in this episode is Dee Bradley Baker. He also voices Squilliam, Bubble Bass and Perch Perkins.

The first season of the show, a lot of bubbles were come out as the characters moved and breathed. I assume it’s hard to animate bubbles all the time.

The only canonical thing i know is that Squidward used to babysit pearl (in an older episode from season 2 she even called him uncle squiddy)
Makes no sense lol,so why does Squidward treat spongebob so wrong and feel annoyed by him? Squidward literally wanted to move away from his own home
