I just want to say this was one of the best episodes I’ve listened to on political strategy and how ideology, when underscored by a degree of pragmatism, can move elections. This is invaluable information. Will be sharing this around. Thank you.
What Marshall is talking about around the 1:09:00 mark (straight to camera social media videos about working out, redefining masculinity, building relationships, etc.) Butch Ware, Jill Stein's '24 VP, is doing EXACTLY that.
1:12:55 really agree with Marshall's point here "new urbanism" seems to be big online but not in real life for this basic common sence reason, also the people in that movement seem to almost never had kids so idk why they think they are "the future"
I am expecting that RFK fulfills his promise to destroy the Revolving Door that exists between the regulators and regulatees. This was a core campaign promise of his.
It’s interesting two POC believe there’s a need for an authoritarian government in order to feel safe so they can get to know their neighbors and reach consensus on local politics. Rather than supporting grass roots groups like unions, church, civic groups to bring different people to share similar values , they propose a 1990s Clinton era super predators governance. High levels of POC incarceration does help give other groups greater access to blue collar jobs which is helpful to certain voting groups and does assure those same voting groups they will remain economically important. Interesting take.
Mass importation: good, no disasters, just bad messaging Mass deportation: disaster, baby out with the bathwater, by the way, didn't win by that much Oof... Bookshelf and blazer > Reason I guess

Will Trump's Party last beyond Trump?
Debatable.
It will. But continue to discount the move

Fascists love fascists. Then there are the enabalers who refuse to call fascists 'fascists'.
Fascism is Rightwing Socialism
