Psalm 119:161-176

We make it to the last two sections of Psalm 119 and once again David has many words which ring perfectly true for the believer. From the beginning we have been tracking David's gratitude towards God for His word and David's words are so perfectly stated.
We have the benefit of far more of the written word from which we can draw and that further revelation through His word makes what David had to say that much richer. David sees God's word for its value in wisdom, comfort, peace, direction, justice, confidence and so many other things vital to his walk, and by extension all who believe.
It is fitting how he ends the Psalm. The last verse could not possibly be more profound and even prophetic.
Verse 176
I have gone astray like a lost sheep;
Seek Your servant,
For I do not forget Your commandments.
