Hi Chris, just stumbled upon your channel, superb video and stunning aerial shots. Just subscribed, and looking forward to enjoying your films. Thank you 🙏 Atb.
Fantastic edit, never been up from that direction. Hiked the popular route wknd before last and we were in the clouds (magical). Hope that gent on the roof of his car was ok! Appreciate all your effort in creating these mini movies and showcasing wales at its best 🥰
Great video Chris. The extension is recommended to make it a long day and you can make it tougher by starting from the main car parks off the A470 which adds another 500m of climbing and 8k in distance.
If i was going to extended it further, I would opt to start from Cwm Gwdi instead of the A470. It's a similar profile (distance and elevation) but a much quieter and more beautiful ascent up to Pen y fan.
@ohwhataknight I agree the best 2 routes up to Pen-y-Fan are from the north, with slight preference for the route that finishes with a little scramble to finish right at the summit.
Criminally underrated channel. Footage is top tier, thanks for sharing
Stunning video again Chris. What a hike! And thanks for helping us with the new name for the Beacons. 😊
Great video Chris 👍 a lot of useful information. I really enjoyed watching, stunning view, amazing hike ❤
A great walk. I like the extension that takes in Cairn Pica and the waterfalls.
Classic route. Really nicely filmed, mate. Well done 👍
What a beautiful hike, this looks and feels phenomenal man! Phenomenal!
Superb cinematography, one of my favourite walks. I camped on the "ledge" below Cribyn summit, some 100m down the mountain.
Hi Chris. Another great video. It reminded me my last summer/August trip to Wales…and Pen Y Fan also. What a wonderful place / area. Stunning views.
You’re the man Chris

Thank you. I was bemused by the bloke sleeping on his car but he looked too cosy to wake.
@ haha me too, must have been a warm spot from the sun, looked a cold day though. Look forward to your other edits - epic and inspiring
Summer has come early in wales;)
Unfortunately it hasn't, this was filmed back in the Autumn 2024!
a while since i did this route, must do it again.

Heyy Chris, what backpack do you recommend for capture clip, for hiking, looking for something comfy, I saw that you use a lot, thankks!!❤
The backpack i used in that video ( and i have been using most of last year) is the Quencha MH500 roll top by Decathlon:
@ thanks Chris, i will check it and the Deuter one too.
Chris. Fantastic vid. Can you please share the longer extended OS route?
Hi have done same walk many times
