What a dignified, lovable pair. Both Dilip sa'ab and Saira ji were fortunate that they got each other as spouses. May Dilip Kumar sa'ab rest in peace.
A secret I can tell you as a former household member is that Dharamji went a bit mad when Yusaf Saab passed, he didnot eat for 4 months we had to put an IV in his arm because he was so saddened. The only thing he would eat outside the IV's was samosas. And he hated Hemaji's dosas. (We all did, she cannot cook worth a damn).
I always thought Dharamji looks like a depressed person, since 1970s. Sad to read how badly affected he was by Yusuf saab's passing

@@euphoria156 u feel poor for u and ur adaptability to understand things and people. Dharam sir is not stupid, infact he knows how much dilip sahab loves him just like a younger brother. Dilip sahab has always praised dharamji and called him his dearest brother. Although dharamji himself knows he is not even close to the stature or a person of that level of greatness that dilip kumar should praise him, but still dilip sahab always loved him unconditionally. And dharamji’s love and respect for the king of Bollywood was not fake, it was never like if he praises dilip sahab, dilip sahab shld praise back in return. He was never greedy or jealous of him. His love for dilip sahab was like any one of us, like we common people or cinema lovers who love our star and celeb unconditionally and cannot hear a word abt our star. Wow, such a beautiful relationship of my favorite all time Dharamji with everyone else's favorite Dilip Sahab. My husband and I always debated about who's most handsome of the two. My husband never mentioned Dilip Sahab's name out of love and respect (my husband's strict Pakhtun culture). He always referred Dilip Kumar as "my Chacha", I wish this clip had came across me before my husband passed away 18 months ago. We would have enjoyed it together. Thank you, I enjoyed it.
