I've had a similar experience running the stock transmitter. I'm going to test this out on a tx16s and hopefully it solves the fly away issue.
@traffordwhalan8817 I can't get it to consistently bind. And motor refuses to arm.

Hi, when I had trims to sub trims in outputs , C189 will not bind . reset sub trims in outputs and it does ! Any ideas ?

No Go on my Boxer with any E129/C186 Binding. 4 days of testing trials and tricks. Not even your yml works in the Boxer on Latest Firmwares.
Sending back under Warranty. Has 2-3 issues. Getting TX16S Red 4in1. 😞
Ok here is my question about Multi E129 in the EdgeTX Radio.
Did you Create your .yml in Companion and then copy it from a computer to the SD Card? That’s the only place I can see the C186 Sub Protocol show up. Can’t dial it up in Radio/Model Settings page.
It seems that if I Read the Model into the Laptop running Companion, then Edit and add C186 Sub protocol under E129, then Write it back to the radio, other things get Changed also.
I’ve spent hours fixing the Model then and it Still won’t Bind. 🙄🤔
Hi...im using tx16 with opentx how do i get the file onto Companion and then onto the radio...Can i use the yml file with open tx....sorry not great with computers
Thank you for posting this. I used your file on my Radiomaster Zorro. As expected, not everything worked perfectly, but I am able to get everything to work except to power on the motor. Pulling the joysticks down and out doesn’t work. I’ve tried everything I can think of, but can’t get the motor on. Can you please show more details of your setup?

Ok i got my Boxer with latest Firmware installed.
I downloaded your YML.
Copied it to my Models on my SD Card, using Companion.
It doesn’t show up in the Models List in the Radio. How do I get Your YML into my Radios Model List?
Spent 20 hours so far trying to create my own, but it Won’t Bind because E129/C186 Sub only shows in Companion. Not in the Radio Setup. No Sub under E129 Type. Totally brain blown so far and no Flying….😢
I’m getting it figured out and into Editing a Copy of your YML. Radio Glitched and reset all my Globals and damaged my original YML so started over with a Copy of yours. Lots of programming to do… 😮

Nope. Still no good even musing your .yml. Will not Bind in radio Setup with E129/C186.
Stock Radio instantly Binds. When Stock radio is On, the Heli Flashes Fast waiting for the Bind.
With my EdgeTX Boxer it just Slow Flashes like No radio is near it.
Have no idea where to turn. Who to contact.
I’m trying to Bind to the E120 BO-105 which supposedly uses Same E129/C186 protocols. 😔
