Pretty darn good Jim, seems like a lot to keep up with and manage as mentioned in other comments. Smaller subset would be more manageable…especially when the market gets squirrely 👍🏻
I struggle with tracking premium collected when rolling options. How do you track to include the amount you pay to buy back the option? Are you using the total premium or the premium in your monthly calculations? Thanks for the great content and sharing your thoughts.
Uncle Jim, really appreciate your videos I am a new meber and trying to get oriented. You said that you were assigned ACLS but kept your long put to minimize loses. The you we on to say that you intended to “put” your shares. Does that mean you intend to dispose of you assigned shares by calling your broker to excercise your put. I have assumed that this may entail additional fees from the broker to exercise, vs simply selling the shares and selling the long put. If I read the planning sheet correctly the long put is at 95 and the current price was 75.61 Thanks.
Hey Jim. Thanks for sharing this information with us. Your videos have really helped me out. Don’t take offense, but I’m wondering why you trade so many different companies each month. It seems like an unnecessary amount of work. Wouldn’t it be a lot less work and more profitable if you just did more contracts on your A+ setups? I’m not saying trading 50 lots, but maybe 3-4 contracts on your best setups. Do you do it for diversification? I know you have been very successful with this strategy, but I’m curious why you trade so many different tickers each month. It seems like a lot to manage, with earnings, ex Dividend, etc. Thanks again!
I wonder the same thing at time. For me half the fun is finding new and exciting companies. However, its not so fun the past couple of days with the recent drops. Are you trading subset of stocks and ETFs? Would you mind sharing what names?
Oh, I see. Yeah, I know you like digging into different companies. I’ve only been selling premium for about a year. I keep it real simple. Pretty much every month i trade NVDA, PLTR, XLM, IWM, ANF, SOFI, AMZN, AAPL, AMD, and sometimes BITX. Sometimes I trade a few more or less, but these are the core companies I use. I appreciate all the detail you provide. Keep it up!
@@EasyInvestingIncome It's in regards to an indicator I use on TOS. MU and TSM and others had smooth-sailing highest money-flow (desirable) until mid-July then it chopped and went down a few notches and is still there. Of course, NVDA, TSM, etc etc are still strong in that indicator. SPY never deviates from full strength except Aug 2 - 5th fiasco.
I like this video for early assignment discussion It happened to me first time ever OXY $50.00 put assigned over night. I hit the button to move $$$$$.$$ from SWVXX to cover January AMD $125.00 puts at this point looking like going to be a owner of 200 shares , could be any day !
Thank you for sharing your option trades with all of us ☺️

It seems like a lot due to doing a monthly video. A good number of these were closing or expirations.

I combine all the premiums. So if I'm rolling it has both the premium to open a new position and the premium I spend to close the existing.

I ended up doing nothing and allowing the shares to be called away at expiration. No additional fees. Just the standard fees.
Cash generation from option selling doesn't tell the whole story. Why not report total position delta instead of just option income?
Thanks for the suggestion. I do share Delta but haven't considered total position Delta. I need to look into it.
Tell me all about it
Funny you mention chips. Look at SOXY. Holy cow
Thanks for your comment. Interesting didn't know Yieldmax had that fund. Wonder if it will have a deteriorating NAV like most of the others.
Sold some Jan. 125 puts on NVDA. I'll be fine getting assigned if prices fall further.
Thanks for sharing. Great company I would not mind owning more.
Love NVDA long term
I had NVDA for 12/27 at $125.00 it give $217.00 of Premium aan at this moment his Delta was 0.1076
It's ok to buy options as long as they're 70 Delta LEAPS (1 yr or more out)
Thanks for your comment. I've learned my lesson. Not going to gamble with earnings.

I like your general strategy but I think you should stay away from speculative tickers. Just stick to the known winners. Cheers
Thanks for your comment. What known winners are you referring to?
MU has had a money flow problem since July 17, just like SMH. TSM, on the other hand, hasn't.
Not sure what you are referring to. They beat earnings and have good cash flow. Their issue is forecasting. They lowered next quarter guidance.

It comes with the territory. It's not a problem unless you don't want to own the stock. of course everyone wants the stock at a lower price.
Same here, I was assigned on $95 CSP in MU…selling CCs now. I might even double down and buy more. 👍🏻
