Merry Christmas. I’m not sure what most of your viewers think, but I got a lot out of this video. It’s easy to make money when everything goes right, but I find that knowing how to work the trade, if it goes against you, has a huge impact on p/l at the end of the year. Keep these videos coming that show how to work trades when they go against you. Very beneficial.
When rolling it might not matter. It's best if the stock isn't down or up big. I typically enter it into the trading page and see how it looks premium wise.
what was your original risk on MU? I usually only risk $500 - $1000 whether it's SPY (the highest-priced stock/etf I would ever play) or INTC (the lowest priced stock I would ever play really).
@@EasyInvestingIncome Would a put-butterfly given the overall market direction being skyhigh have been a better entry despite MU's already oversoldness? thereby pushing the strikes further down to acceptable assignment risk?
I just took loss on mu...luckily, it was a ten dollars wide spread. So pretty much full loss, but i had made money on call side as i had iron condor before. But call made just little bit.
It is under the ask value. It is a link with the wording show full quote. It shows IV, Delta, Gamma, Theta and Vega. This is the online interface and is the all in one ticket. Hope that helps.

Thanks for the kind words. I plan on doing more videos related to managing trades.
Merry Christmas 🎄🎁
Thank you Jim, and Merry Christmas to you and your family!
Merry Christmas
When you decide to roll such a trade, do you do it on a green day or a red one?

If you're asking about required capital it was originally a $10 spread minus premium. So around 850 or so per contract.

Clarification on 10% ITM: Is that the value of stock, for example, stock price going from 100 down to 90?
Yes. If you're strike is $100 and stock drops to $90. this is when I get very concerned about early assignment.

Thanks for sharing. Few stocks have as much option volume and premium. At some point they will rebound.
I use the same interface on Schwab so I say if it ain’t broke don’t fix it
They have made improvements to it too. Like how I can see Delta easily by clicking the link for each leg.
@ which link? I couldn’t find way to see delta

@ only thing I wish it had was a spot where it says when earning us so I don’t sell a put into earnings.. on the Schwab website
