Great looking drill and I like the mods you've done. I have a 10ft 750 drill with serial #N00750XO13283. Very close. Have had it 5 years now and really like it. Ontario Canada. Thx for the vid

They have all done a lot of work. Blade diameter is a big one but you won't plant more than an inch down. Look for broken welds the rock shaft on ours comes loose in the center. Closing wheels on the rear fill with dirt dust and quit spinning. No big deal to fix them. Not really to much to go wrong with them. See my last couple of videos I talk more about the wheels in the latest combine video.

    Hello.
What kind of hydraulic valve built for the drill?
I've got a similar JD750 and it doesn't work good in ground tracking.
So I should found a new good solution for my problem.
    Thanks your answer
    Regards

      @@vagnerdenes I don't understand?

@@wildcatwilly Can you describe exactly what type of valve you installed? Because it doesn't work well on my seed drill, as I have an open hydraulic system. I was thinking of a pressure regulator under the valve. Sorry, English is not my native language.

I am thinking about buying my first drill and the 750 would do everything I need. This is really good video! Any tips on what to look for when buying a used one?

Where did you get your drill drains? Looks good.

It took Charles a while to find them. If you Google drill drain they should come up.

Throw those closing wheels in the scrap pile! Get the newer style ones like the 1560 and 1590, you’ll never have bearing trouble!!

We plan to get rid of them. Just baby steps.

I have ran my 750 since 2019 have about 6000 acre ran through it the closing wheels work but are a pain the bearings go out quickly.

I want to say $2400 but I could be mistaken. Well worth the money.
