Hello I would like to interested in John Deere 1590 hydraulic system setting options. In your video you introduce the open and closed hydraulic system solution on the no-till drill. I have got an open hidraulic system tractor. My question is, in open hydraulic settings on the no-till drill be able to working the active ground tracking, than in closed hydraulic settings. @vagerdenes The “Active Hydraulic Down Pressure” system that allows the openers to “track” the ground surface, is an option only with closed center hydraulic system tractors. In this instance the cross handle valve on the open/closed center conversion valve is opened all of the way and the down pressure is set according to the gauge. The drill hydraulics will compensate for ground irregularities. For open center tractors the cross handle valve is closed completely. The down pressure will be set according to the gauge same as before. However, in this instance the oil volume in the drill hose and cylinder system “fixed”, therefore if the openers drop into a depression the pressure will decrease momentarily and if they roll over a hump it will increase. In this mode of operation it is similar to the old depth stop/ plunger system first introduced on the 750 series drills. Hope this helps.

open and closed centre? are you talking about the directional control valve initial position? meaning initial spool position
Do you run the hydraulics on float mode for closed center tractors
