I think the lyrics are important in a piece of music as they can sometimes tell a story that music alone cannot. I went to Japan solo two months ago. Most nights I was too tired to stay up late, but I did have a few late nights. One night, I went to Senso-Ji temple at 4am. Another night, I went into a bar and a beautiful Japanese woman had me sing karaoke with her until dawn. I sometimes felt lonely on the trip but those moments made things better.
