Thank you so much for taking the time to explain this. As a first time home owner, I was clueless and worried about the perfect setting and electricity consumption. You were able to demystify everything in a no-BS manner. Thanks again!!!

Thank you so much! As a first time home owner, I had no idea how this worked, but you explained it very clearly!

That's incorrect my friend, you should keep it on green only in the winter, but in the summer you should shut it off all together, because you don't want that warm air to come into your house when you are trying to cool it with the AC. The AC will automatically pull the moisture out of your house in the summer.
Again, winter on the green setting, summer shut it completely off!

Hello, thanks for the video, really helpful. I turned it on and is green but it does not make any noise. How can I make sure that it is working?

Every time I got this on, I don't hear a sound from the VanEE 40H+ . Is that normal ?

Do you reccomend turning off HRV during extreme colds -30c weather? We find our air is too dry. We have it at 20/40 green setting. Considering just shutting the unit off. Our hygrometer says it's too dry.
