Engelbert does have a powerful voice...and I love his voice immensely. But I do absolutely ADORE the Johnny Mathis version just for the large, over the top disco arrangement. This is not a competition of voices, but rather the arrangements. But yes, I do love Engelbert. Look up his video of “Love Story” (the older video with the “clock” running in the corner of the video). Amazing!
