Well, dear Koosje. I sit here awaiting the "super moon" in Kansas, and have watched your "super" drawing. I love the freshness of it. I have been following your journaling about a creative block and am experiencing much the same thing. Somehow, seeing this today lets me know you are on your way back - and that there is always hope. Sending lots of creativity your way. Hugs. Oh, what were you using in your lap to draw on? It looking like a portable table....
Koosje, I noticed a lot of sketchers are using fountain pens, what is the preference over regular pens? Also some of the people closer to you were drawn after most of the others were done, and there are lines from people in background showing thru. I thought this " transparency" might be distracting. How do others work around or respond to this? Am I just being too fussy? Thank you, FW
You are so right!! This help me to enjoy drawing and using the obstacle in the way (as an opporunity to improve/choose)
I really like this style of sketching, I'm inspired to try it myself, thank you.

Great insight Koosje!
Love your drawings: It captures the buzz near the Rijksmuseum! Can you tell me what kind of dummy and pen you are using?
Jacqueline Schouten The pen is a Lamy Safari fountain pen with a medium nib and Platinum Carbon ink in it. And a Moleskine sketchbook. 😀

Sketchbook Skool ow ok ma'am, it's quite an expensive pen here 😊
How many Lamy pens do you have? Which nib fine or medium?
You can never have enough Lamys! They come in all colors of the rainbow, and I mostly use nibs Bold, Medium, and sometimes Fine.
