[ Does my husband heat the bento or eat it cold? ]
He eats the bento at room temperature. That is natural things for us. but I know many people (also Japanese) wanna heat it. so I recommend you to use the lunch box that is fine for microwave, if you wanna heat it ;)

I laughed so much at the way your daughter speaks. I am an American living in Japan. My son always spoke English OR Japanese but my daughter spoke like your daughter. Going to 幼稚園 "Mommy, ぼうしforgotちゃった!" When I was walking too quickly, "I'm too 疲れた, I can't 走る". And our favorite, "Just a 待って!" Soon your daughter will start using mostly one or the other but just now she is a cute mix.

@@preciousbees5721 I think it's a common thing that happens to people that grow up bilingual. Here in the Philippines, there's this thing called 'Taglish' where you basically just talk in a mixture of English and Tagalog.
I wanna slip into Japanese as easily as your daughter does, truly amazing to have the opportunity to grow up bilingual

She usually adds a boiled egg to her tartar. This time she didn’t. My dad used to make it the same way she did in this video. I do think the egg would add a creaminess to it

You're amazing person, with outstanding, soothing energy. You're videos not only allow me to gain some energy when I'm really tired but you also helping me to change my eating habits. When I was a kid my parents didn't always prepared food for me so I kinda used to easy to make, unhealthy dishes and since I'm living on my own for 5 years and and I've got noone to eat my food I usually have no motivation to make something for myself. Everytime when I'm starting to eat ReadyToEat food from store or ordering something again I'm coming back to your videos and it's like
"Oh, looks easy and delicious I'm gonna try it!" and BOOM! I'm back on the right path of taking care of myself, learning to prepare heathy, delicious and homemade food! Also your family seems so lovely It warms my heart ~ Thank you so much much ma'am!

This was a nice way to end the week. No thoughts, just watching an amazing cook make bento for her husband and maintain a healthy and happy relationship with both husband and daughter.

Love what you do imamu!!! I always try and search for your recipes cos I want to try them, but then have to find them in like 20 minute videos and I get lost 🤣
Watching your content made me realize how simple cooking can be and gave me the courage to try something new. So I made shrimp gyoza this week, I made the wrappers too thick (I don't have a rolling pin so had to use my cooking chopsticks to roll the dough) but it was delicious.
So I just wanted to thank you for showing me how easy it was to make delicious food at home!💖
A small tip, if you want to roll the dough but have no rolling pin - you can use an empty glass bottle, like the ones with juice or beer. Just wash it and it works great
