アコースティックギターやボーカルをマイクで録音する時、どんなマイクを選べばいいのでしょうか？
そこで、多くのコンデンサーマイクの中から、人気の高い３種類のマイク、MXL V67G、AKG P220、MXL V69MEをピックアップして、実際に録音してみました。
それぞれ特徴のある音をしていますが、あなたはどの音が気に入りましたか？
どのマイクの音が、あなたの「欲しい音」に近いか、という視点でマイク選びの参考にしていただければ幸いです。
ちなみに、３本の中でV69MEだけが真空管を使ったマイクです。他の２本と比べて、音の毛色がちょっと異なる点を感じていただけるのではないかと思います。
【使用機材】
・オーディオインターフェース：Steinberg UR22C
・マイクケーブル：Mogami 2552（V69MEの付属品）
・DAWソフト：Steinberg Cubase
・エフェクト：リバーブのみ。コンプやイコライザーは一切使用していません。
・ギター：Gibson J-45（前半のギター比較）, Yamaha APX600（後半のボーカル比較）

Out of these three mics, I prefer V69ME the most for both guitar and vocals.
One reason for this is that the sound of V69ME is closest to what I hear live.
One of the characteristics of V69ME is that the sound comes out to the front.
Therefore, I think V69ME is especially suitable for a performance style that assumes guitar playing and singing, as in this test.
The sound of V67G is well balanced.
If you don't want to spend as much money on a microphone as V69ME, I think V67G is the most cost-effective and best choice.
P220 has a relatively similar sound to V67G, but the highs are a little drier and the mids feel a little lacking.
So if you use an acoustic guitar in band tracks, the sound of P220 may blend well with other instruments.
