She doesn't sing for fame. So she turned down the label deal because she prefers singing for God and people.
She doesn't want to be in big agencies so.. She turned down every offers from them since she was young. I guess she just prefers to sing and operate her shedules freely as an independent artist.

It’s unfortunate, but it seems like there are no talents in Korea who can truly support Sohyang, or perhaps they just haven’t appeared yet.
Just look at the major music shows in Korea-when Sohyang performs, the sound quality is terrible and lacks professionalism.

When I discovered Sohyang about four years ago, I learned a lot about her past, but because of her health issues, I thought her best days were behind her. But starting with the Freedom video that she did with Petra, and with everything that I've seen since, it became clear to me that she still has a lot to give. And now, it's clear to me what lies ahead in the present and the future, and it's a beautiful thing. God Bless this angel that we have here on earth. ❤
