FE304: STICK OUT is a follow up song for BREAK where it's good on it's own, especially the message if you understand the song deeper their message is really good especially moving on.
This EP is defintely a grower when compared to their previous comeback with Fe3O4: Break, but when I tell you that when this shit grows on you it doesn't let you go, I am NOTTTTT exhaggurating. I've been streaming this entire ep so much that it rocketed nmixx from my 5th most listen artist to my no.1. The songs on this EP are so late night drive coded. Also I am not standing down on my stance that Beat Beat should've been the promotional B-Side.
My impression of Sickuhh was like yours on the first run through. Then I played it right away again for the second time and then it clicked for me and that song was all I listened to the rest of that night. 😝

Personally, I love every single song on this album except Sickuhh which I legitamately hid on spotify so I can play the album without it creeping up on me. And I love every other song on here so much that this is my album of the year even despite sickuhh lmaooo. I love both halves of the album. just not sickuhh

They’re already a lil popular from their debut with “yoyo” and “uhuh” and they have SO MUCH POTENTIAL and if the company PLAYS THEIR CARDS RIGHT they could be one of the NEXT BIG GIRL GROUPS. If u do react to both of their MVs I’d recommend u watch the yoyo performance video instead of the MV bc they released it predebut and only show a min of the song 😭 ITS TOTALLY FINE IF U DONT WANT TO REACT AND I TOTALLY UNDERSTAND SO HAVE A GREAT DAY AND NEVER STOP THESE REACTIONS BC THEY MAKE MY DAY 🥹😎
a lot of these songs felt like songs made for other groups idk I wasn't feeling them except beat beat. I also coulda done with a little less rapping on this, I was not into some of it (also more end of the album mid tempo song that don't fit in once again). Excited for the next project but they still need to figure out this groups sound more, they are very talented I know they can do some amazing things
There is smth abt these songs that made me didn’t enjoy them first listen. I think the main thing is that the acapellas this time were too different. See that uses the, I’ll call it bridge chorus, which makes u think it’s gonna be the chorus, but it’s actually apart of the bridge. And it’s very different to what the actual song mostly sounds like, super hip hop. Which I am tbh EXTREMELY tired of since it’s been used waaaay too much rn in my opinion (Armageddon, dash, walk, etc) but I never rlly liked hip hop anyway so HAHHA. Red light sign, but we go had a totally different vibe in the acapella. It felt more bright while in the actual song, it was a lot more darker and deeper ig. Beat beat wasn’t rlly different, but I think too much ppl expected it to be another Book when it was actually another passionfruit. Love is lonely alos felt very different. Just because in the acapella, there wasn’t many sounds for the instrument, so when I did end up hearing it with the instrument, it was like, disappointing for some reason. I didn’t like how it sounded with the instrument HAHAHA. And I’m SO annoyed that Haewons sickuhh in the acapella wasn’t in the actual song HAHA (Also too me sickuhh feels like it’s trying to be supernova too much. Like demjointz was the producer for both songs, they’re both heavy rap tracks, and are both pre releases HAHA) Compare it to previous acapellas like expergo’s, the songs give u an expectation that ends up being the actual song, while this acapella kinda tricks u into thinking it’s smth else

This album appealed more to Koreans because of the lyrics when I checked the lyrics I appreciated the songs even more
