RETRO RV 4 Berth Build. Volkswagen Kombi Bus Snail Motorhome

1961 Split Screen Retro RV with absolutely everything you could possibly think of, we custom built this 4 Berth RV, what started as a wreck became this piece of art, with a lot of vision and even more work we transformed this Split Screen Kombi into a Camper that will be enjoyed on the road for many years to come. With EJ25 Subaru running gear this RV cruises along no worries at all. All our RVs are fully engineered to ensure that they safe and comply with modern day ADR requirements.
Other Features Include-
-IRS suspension
-Reversed Subaru 5 speed gearbox using Subaru gears parts.
-The main materials used for the frame and rear body were:
75x50x2mm RHS steel for the sub frame,
25x25x1.6mm steel RHS for the lower frame, 25x25x1.6mm aluminum RHS for the upper frame to keep it light weight, aluminum composite panel for the external cladding, 25mm thick foam insulation in all walls, 3mm marine ply for internal walls, red arc red vision fir the electrics and Dometic air conditioner to keep the Kombi the Perfect temp while camping!

great work, makes you want to hop on and take off right away! for a more mass market approach i would look into making the entire front myself out of fiberglass, that way you wouldnt need any old VW parts at all. I also love the Vespamobile!

Pretty cool project start to finish ... Like the use of the Subaru engine as well. ~ Was wondering how you were keeping an air cooled engine temperature down with the camper body on it!
