The DA did a dirty in Oudshoorn. The mayor was being a dictator not involving their coalition partners. FF+ had asked DA to change their mayor but refused. It's OK for DA to be in coalition with the ANC but not for the FF+. The DA need to start behaving as partners in the coalitions and stop being so arrogant.

The recent riots here have been put down by a strong push back and marches / peaceful protest by the middle masses that they will not tolerate the right wing attacks on asylum seekers or minorities. This together with quick decisive police and firm judicial action has stopped the situation from spreading widely
