I know I'm late but I've just bought 1of these in 5000 xg and I'm not overly impressed with it. It replaced my older stradic 4k ci4+... I've landed some monster fish with this (I'm talking +20kg fish lots of them) and she's a bit worn down from it so it was time to upgrade.. I already own a Stella on a bit bigger combo so I wanted to try the TP but it's not cutting it. As soon as I hook up and try to retrieve line, it becomes very unbalanced and nearly impossible to reel up when under load almost can feel the rotor trying to stop me winding, unless I high stick to get slack in the line to reel (which is not good, lose fish doing this technique) was just wondering why such a strong reel would do this... Thinking about returning the reel. Any thoughts?
