Our wal-mart looks like yours but the new releases shelf are still at the hall and we have more anime titles at ours. We have a $5 bin and $8 bin as well. Records and action figures take up parts of the dvd area. The new releases at the front of the store are gone. Target 97% is gone replaced with manga and books. New releases at checkout are gone as is the $5 shelf by the food area replaced with books. Our dollar stores dumped 99% of the dvds and our thrift stores went from areas of dvds to your lucky to get a bin or shelf. Ross has dumped all dvds and only two or three at five below.
Those were not DMC exclusive titles. Those were always available anywhere. The DMC exclusive titles include Mighty Ducks, Cool Runnings, the Herbie movies...among others. So not sure why they have the DMC logos on these releases.

Nice video - i am 52 years of age and i started collected VHS tapes back in the late 1980s and all of the sudden the Dvd`s came. so my vhs player could not play movies anymore so i threw 2 giant garbage bags full of vhs tapes. My james bond Vhs collection and movies i really enjoyed. I started collected Dvd`s. So soon they stopped to sell dvd`s. Now i collect blu rays... and even 4K movies..and what is so freaking frustrating is that Netflix or Disney or digital media are not giving us old movies in their so called Libraries. I can`t find old movies from the 70s..or slasher horror movies. Only like famous movies - Halloween etc. But no Hammer films etc. I really dislike Netflix because they have some movies but all of the sudden they delete their films for some reason. You buy like 3 steaming channels, and pay a litte each month but so you get tired of looking. I think we all need to collect fysical media....but i am guessing i am 2 old.... i miss the old days
Nobody wants half those junk DVDs or blu rays. I remember going to best buy 15 to 20 years ago and finding great horror movies for cheap. They stopped carrying the good movies and now you have to go to scream factory to buy them
Makes sense that part of the passion for physical media collecting has died as passion for film has died. Look at the titles. Rows and rows of garbage mostly aimed at 13 year old brains, no originality, sequels up the wazoo! Maybe 1 in 20 movies worth watching, let alone owning.

Our dollar stores dumped 99% of the dvds and our thrift stores went from areas of dvds to your lucky to get a bin or shelf. Ross has dumped all dvds and only two or three at five below.
I love physical media. I recently brought Danny phantom and Jimmy neutron. Shows i cant watch because i don't have paramount +
That great
They shouldn't ditch physical media, but I do believe they need to carry mostly blu-ray and not DVD's.........
4:32 a Christmas Story Christmas shouldn't that been available last year?
I would be sad if phisculmedia would ended by December 2024 or January 2025
Walmart has exclusive steelbooks, but I never find them in the store, so I order them.
What bugs me is dubs of anime that don’t get released but replaced. Looking at you, Baki Hanma.
Those were not DMC exclusive titles. Those were always available anywhere. The DMC exclusive titles include Mighty Ducks, Cool Runnings, the Herbie movies...among others. So not sure why they have the DMC logos on these releases.
Unfortunately I heard target is getting rid of physical media
I love disney movies! 🎥
Bargain bin is EXACTLY where modern Disney media deserves to be, honestly.
❤
Lucky if we have a third of that. The Walmart here is horrible! Can't even get any Ghostbusters Frozen Empire merch!
I used to go out once a week to buy a new release, but I stop buying movies they’re all remakes of older movies
Am surprise this Walmart does not put security cases on those dvd nor blu ray
Yeah it’s hit or miss which ones have that.
Why the hell is the Looney Tunes Platinum Collection in the $5 bin?
Not one person walked past you the whole time you had the camera focused on the dvd bin! 😂 I don’t want to assume that you know about Disney’s problems. In truth, there may not be a Disney around next year! That’s likely the reason you’re seeing those DVDs at Walmart!
😠 I'm so pissed
It makes me feel very sad that they are trying to feed out videos and c. Ds, the reason why I say that is because I still love videos and d. V. D and c Ds and some people don't have phones. Or internet, some people don't even have cable. Some people still don't have a smart t. V, so in a way it just taken away from things that people are used to having. I think it's on fair. I think that it's just morally wrong to take away things that some people may not um understand. I have lots of DVD's in the house. I have lots of cds in the house. I have tapes. I have cassettes. I have, I have records. I have them all and I would really like to get ahold of more. They are having a mother of all yard sales in my town in May so I might be able to get more. Because if they're gonna faze all this stuff out. We better find it while we can
New subscriber for you
i only collect cartoons thats it
That suck
@@donnellcoleman7784 manly looney tunes scooby doo and popeye
Dude, me, too 😂😂😂. Scooby doo, the Simpsons, looney tunes, garfield, etc.
They stopped carrying the good movies and now you have to go to scream factory to buy them
I never canada so I don't know what's gonna happen here
If people stop buying digital this wouldn’t be an issue😂
Uh-Oh The Video is Frozed
Video didn't froze he just like staring at $5 Wal-Mart bin
@@donnellcoleman7784 oh
Medical media is the best I love streaming apps, too
Well life changed & no one can control that
1:09 I see the FNaF movie
Wow
Makes sense that part of the passion for physical media collecting has died as passion for film has died. Look at the titles. Rows and rows of garbage mostly aimed at 13 year old brains, no originality, sequels up the wazoo! Maybe 1 in 20 movies worth watching, let alone owning.
is very sad for me
Is this early morning because your Walmart is bare.
I don't fully remember, but I think it was evening. I was filming when people weren't around, which is why it looks to be very empty.

Hehe If I had the money on a gift card still for merely stowing up by as many as feasible fwiw id buy tones of the tv show boxes of box set dvds fwiw for sure but fwiw it was crazy how mich I understimated fwiw the cost a boxed set I figured about 20 usd regardless of the series or show.. fwiw lol the ones like the long running ones like the simpsons I bet is 16 hundred dollars or more fwiw up to about a few grand for Sesame Street the 69?-2004 series not to mention 2004-present day.. but fwiw I assume it is becase of how ,any decades sesame street has been going for,, hehe for over 50 years now so thatvis ig not so unreasonable for a long running and over 500gb amoumt of data fwiw to store in such high end qaulity particularly for stuff thats tough to acqiire fwiw but also remaster and upscale before they downscalevbacj to 480i or standard def formerly considered to be average/standard def fwiw.. then reupscale back to 1080p etc fwiw if using a newer dvd player etc.. or even up to 4 or even 8k? etc.
I don't like Best Buy so I don't go there!
My local Dollar General stores are putting all DVD and BRD content at 50% off. All Dollar Tree stores I went to over the past 6 months have shown little to no re-stocking of physical media. Dollar Tree used to put out boxes and boxes of physical media on Black Friday in last November’s, but they all put out very little this past November.
