Insurance video, please. Also, if Ram doesn't know about you, then their customer relations people are failing. Paul, with how many trucks you have bought from them and how many miles you have put on those trucks needs to be recognized by Ram. You'd think they'd be having you a test bed for these trucks. Have a blessed day, Paul.

Thank you for spending the time making all these videos. So informative! Any chance why you wouldn't pick up a ram 4500? I wonder if the detuned Cummins would be more reliable.

I have a 2022 ram 3500 6.7 with Aison. One of the desiding factors for buying this truck was watching your channel. I just started doing oil analysis and first oil analysis was a little high in Iron wear and little high in a few other things but im keeping a close eye on it for now. It's has 30k miles on it and Shell Rotella 5w 40 and changed every 5k miles. My biggest complaint is when towing and in tow haul mode it down shifts very harshly, like reving up to 2800 RPM on down shift when slowing down. I don't like that I don't like the way this thing is tuned. I am a 20 year LTL truck driver so I know a little.

I cut my oil filters and inspect for debris. It could help you early identify any issues or help with peace of mind.

      What filter are you running?
It shifts like that in tow/haul mode because the exhaust brake has much more retarding power at higher RPMs.
IMO it feels much less harsh with the exhaust brake on, although I’m coming from an older 68RFE.

    I have a 2022 ram 2500 cummins.
Bought it in May of 22 the trans starting ticking in October around 15k miles.
Dropped it off at the dealer they replaced it with a reman in a week. November came around started ticking again and the low Coolant light came on the same day. Dropped it off again. They replaced egr cooler and the trans is on hold to replace till the recall for the trans comes in. Truck has 26k on it now still has a ticking transmission and has 5 recalls now and the dealer said the parts are on order for all the recalls. The dealer is waiting on the parts to come in is what they told me last week.

Nope, just traded my 2017 f350 for a new 2023 Ram 3500 high ouput diesel. The super duty seems light on its feet but not stable when going 70 to 90 miles per hour. My new Ram is very planted on the ground even at 95 miles per hour high wind in the Nevada desert. The aluminum body of the ford makes it lighter but easily side sweep by a high wind in the desert. No regrets and as well as the engine brake is a night and day difference, the Ram will hold my 43 feet 20k toy hauler going down a 10% grade for a relax drive and driving is very enjoyable...lol.
