4K・ 【4K】Typhoon night in Urayasu

  • Not a vlog, no intrusive faces or talking, pure Japan only.
In this video I wanted to show why I didn't have many videos recently but it got even worse than I expected.
    Map www.google.com/maps/d/u/0/vie...
Video was taken on the last day of typhoon 10/22 at 5pm.
It was raining for almost two weeks stopping for half a day sometimes. The main cause was coming typhoon. In my life Tokyo was never hit by typhoon in full force as somewhere on Okinawa, but I wanted to check what is going on at the coast. So I was going to walk along the coast from Shin-Urayasu station to the east.
I also want to test new way of protecting gimbal as new rainjacket with pants I bought specially for videowalks (to walk without umbrella). It should make filming rainy days much easier and more comfortable.
Video was taken during live stream which I control using web browser in my smartphone but rain became so strong that I was unable to see any comments on the screen and after some time rain drops switched to web browser with stream control page and tapped stop stream :) Then I decided to stop and even did not reach the coast.
Filmed in UltraHD 4K 60p with Lumix GH5 camera, 8-18 f2.8-4 lens and Beholder EC1 stabilizer.
Feel free to correct my English or suggest a video to film.

The rain hitting the plastic reminds me of a crackling campfire. Very relaxing. Thank you for including details like rails, gates, drains, planters, shops, signs, utilities, etc. I love to see it as naturally as I would if I was walking. Hope the new jacket and pants worked out. Almost that time of year again. Enjoyed the video immensely.

There's nothing like a rainy night; the freshness of the air, the soft pit - a - pat of the raindrops on your umbrella, that 'whoosh' sound car tires make in the rain, it's all so soothing.

Clever. We see the outside and inside - two videos at once. The wet and stormy outside and the young lady fixing her make-up in the glass. You even panned to orientate us to the inside of the bus. Nice rainy walk. I like the way bicycles are stuck in every small space.

I tried taping in a hurricane once. Never did find the mic that blew off and this was 60 miles from the coast during Katrina. In this video we have everyone hunkered down inside and Rambalac out in the weather shooting, testing rain gear. Salute

This may sound strange, but I really loved the beginning. There is something so peaceful about a rainy night bus ride. I love public transport but where I live, it is really inconvenient. So it was just very nice and nostalgic to watch on your video, and the bus driver had a very calm way of speaking! I was also surprised to see the bus is so small when you got off! Thank you as always for your videos!

I am honestly surprised to see apartments that tall in Japan. I guess they take time to invest in strong foundation supports. Also, the geology of japan has lots of lava rock as bedrock, so perhaps the buildings don't need super deep foundations like in other places. And the earthquake codes there are top-notch.
