for anyone wondering about the AFOW storyline, i copied it from his discord: The episode would've had the Caucuses (or how ever you spell it) being revealed as a group of scientists who gathered around the world to stop P China since they were the only ones who knew what China was up to. The scientists kept their plans secret out of fear of China hastening the production of their EMP device. The device in general is a massive structure in central China that basically works as a constant long range EMP The caucuses would've used a alternative powered ship to destroy the structure, but would end up being a suicide mission Since it was a success power was restored, but because most nations repurposed their electric infrastructure, they needed time to get their full strength back. Europe and the US states also were connected once again. China obviously declared war on all of the European and American states with his allies La plata and PL commonwealth. The US states fight along the gulf coast while the Europeans are able to hold them against the Rhine river. Eventually it is revealed that the empire of Egypt is also allied with China and is in control of most of Northern Africa. He attacked Italy and Iberia, causing the front by the Rhine to collapse. As a last ditch attempt France tries to talk to Poland to help their side. Poland knew that if he betrayed China he would be destroyed, but ultimately did it anyway for the better of humanity. Poland used their troops to encircle China and they killed all of their forces. China enraged used all their remaining nukes on Polarid and wiped out the entire Polish population. Eventually China's weakness caught up to them as their allies left him and the groups he was suppressing rose up, destroying pure China.

i haven't visited the mapping community in a while, so idk how the community is doing nowadays but i must say, i loved your videos please do what you love most. i tried making a mapping video with a $10 animation studio and imovie as well as powerpoint and it genuinely made my spinal cord recoil. mapping was originally fun, but yeah it really starts to die out when you realise it is literally just fan fics of countries fighting each other. the only sadder thing is that countryhumans exist but we don't talk about that. anyways, i will never forget the hours i spent imagining making my own countryball mapping series and thinking how popular i'd be, all cuz i found your videos cya

when i look at the comments and this video i see people eventually growing out of mapping as they age. When i look at other mappers that had hundreds of thousands of views a couple years ago, but eventually had the same burnout as you. Im kind of sad about mapping dying out cause of my nostalgia but it's way better that you guys aren't stressed out, and are happy with what you make. RIP mapping

what outcomes could happen to mapping as a genre 1. the genre eventually dies out, as most top mappers are getting bored and are starting to dislike their content, this seems pretty likely to happen as mapping isnt as popular 2. mapping will just be in constant limbo with content creators leaving and joining the genre same with fans they also would be leaving and joining the genre 3. A content creator will bring something new to the table of mapping and bring the genre back to life. (unlikely and maybe impossible as it is very hard to add something new to mapping that would make it more interesting)
