    I went on a Mcdougall starch based diet 2 months ago. Two weeks ago I treated myself to a beyond burger from Carl's Jr. After about a half an hour, I got incredibly tired and fell asleep. A couple of days ago I ate one of those Jiffy blueberry muffins and I had a pain in my stomach for about a minute a half an hour after I ate it. It's amazing how sensitive you become when you start eating clean.

    This was an amazing interview. I never looked at processed food affecting the body negatively on a cellular level. I am on a whole food plant based high raw diet, but will allow myself to have a processed treat or a few chips here and there during the week, thinking that what I do over 90% of the time, will conteract what I do just a few times. This interview was an eye opener and I love how she shows respect to cells. I really want to live a totally processed free life style for my cells.

    I'm learning cellular wastes go into the interstitial area and then most goes out the kidneys but the breath and skin also will also eliminate hence why so many rash disorders and asthma conditions out there as their kidneys are not functioning well. A great video ful of good info...

    Joan is RIGHT. Until I hears her speak I had not made the connection between my ED and processed food. If I have one eg an ice cream I can not stop. Next thing it is five. Thank you

    Dear Chef AJ, I watch you everyday. Most days several times. This was phenomenal! Gluten is bad for us., I eat rice. Dr. Mcdougald says it is fine.. I understand only wild rice is gluten free.,
    Do you still eat white rice? Thank you🥣

    I’m wondering when you might have Dr. Doug Lyle on again? I would love to hear his take on the mind-body connection (how stress affects the body), or would he debunk that too. Thank you-

    I try so hard to exclude and limit the processed foods in my children’s lives. It is a constant disagreement with family that push it because they’re diabetic and they can’t eat it, because the think when you’re young it is the only time you can have it🙄

    I ask myself when it comes to processed foods, " I can also eat/put laundry detergent in my mouth either way these 'foods' are as much identifiable nourishment as soap"...My son who is autistic has food/oral aversions so he will ONLY eat certain foods and I'm limited with what I can feed him. It makes me cry and sad because his selection is so severe.

    • @jayleon2894
      @jayleon2894 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Dr. Natasha Campbell Mcbride who wrote GAPS has a plethora of healing protocols for autism, inc strategies for picky eating and she explains why this happens. I hope you and your son flourish!💖

      "Vaccine" industry can no longer say they do not cause Autism . . . In court they could not show they had any evidence to make that statement. Autism rates go up with every injection added to the schedule. Mercury, aluminum, formaldahyde, foreign dna, foreign proteins, msg, glyphosate . . . etc, and it all bypasses the digestive/detoxification tract which is exactly why snake venom is so deadly/toxic.

      Also, during this interview, I realized that other doctors who are promoting keto or that fat is okay, a little bit of processed food is okay, they are also like the doctors in the '50s who profited off of saying cigarettes were okay.... They'll keep getting views and clicks and subscribers because they're saying what people want to hear. Addicts want to be told that their addiction is okay. Especially by a so-called expert.

    LOL!!! If the grocery store has a "health food" section what is the rest of the store??? It's right there in our face . . . the unhealthy "food" products section.

    I drink daily green tea and 8oz of kombucha which are caffeine. Do I need to give these up? Do their health benefits get canceled out then? Thanks.

    • @CHEFAJ
      @CHEFAJ  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Really a personal decision...I always preach adopting the "least restrictive diet that works for you" Certainly green tea and kombucha have great health benefits and are a much healthier choice than coffee loaded with creams and sweeteners

    The other thing I have been learning is there is no such thing as bad bacteria. The bacteria only steps in when there is food to feed it, foods or wastes that the body couldn't take care of. Bacteria is cleaning up those wastes the body couldn't break down through enzymatic actions and then eliminated through the proper channels if I said that correctly ...
