Running Under Waterfalls at Silver Falls State Park - GoPro Trail Running

Doing a run at Silver Falls State Park in Oregon. Using the GoPro Hero 3 to record. Silver Falls is an awesome place to check out some waterfalls and do some trail running. Running at Silver Falls is a lot of fun, especially if you do the Trail of Ten Falls loop.

I just went for a run, my go pro 3 was setup to 1080 at 30 fps, and quality was amazing however i had so much camera shake, any way to avoid that? also it seem that the pivot thing for the camera kept moving, and giving me different angles, was it just not tight enough, and do you put ur headstrap super super tight?
im doing spartan race soon, so I would like to avoid camera shake and have a smooth video, thanks
