Nice video...very peaceful country..Japanese people have their own peaceful culture....Japan is simply the best..Everything is clean, people don't smoke every where,no crime to speak of..The Japanese people are the best, friendly, very helpful ,polite...How lucky it would be to live in a country like this... Love this country & people...I've been Japan last year for 7 days...if i have a opportunity I'd like to visit there again and again ... Thank you for uploading this beautiful video... Do more videos...like to see more places in beautiful Japan..
Wow! Enjoyed the video! The street food looked both bizarre but delicious! The mochi with strawberry custard I would definitely try, along with the mochi on stick with soybean powder. Not sure about the omelet with little fish! I would have tried that ice cream though! Great job again! Japan looks so beautiful with all those temples. So mysterious!
@@samuelandaudrey Hi .. no. You did a fantastic job covering a lot of different things, much more than I did back then. This video makes me want to visit Kamakura again!
Kamakura is a super place for a daytrip from Tokyo. But OMG it is busy. There are over 100 temples so you will never get bored. And there's a great beach with loads of windsurfers.
I love mochi so much! I'm pretty sure I could just eat mochi all day and I'd probably turn into a blimp. But all the food looks so good, and the temple is so breathtaking! It's hilarious to see the No Pokémon Go sign. I can imagine the temple had some problem with idiots chasing Pokémon around the temple!
The soft Mochi like thing is made from sweet potato flour..I didn't even know that. You can see them( Warabi mochi) in convenient stores in summer time in Japan. I love it!
I AM so jealous right now. 🙄. Need to go there this year too. But Zadar first in April, and september Japan planning. Beautiful vid like always. Love you both
Have you been to Minato Mirai area in Yokohama? It's very stylish! Get off at JR Sakuragi-cho station, climb the Landmark tower, walk through the water front, look the big ship, maybe catch a sea boat...etc. And Christmas market at the red brick building, parks on the hill and water front, many nice cafes.. We lived in Yokohama for two years and we went to Kamakura and Enoshima too. so many forgettable memories came back to us by your videos Thank you!
I love Kamakura and last visited there in March 2017. You guys went to the big tourist temples but there are quite a few more smaller but no less interesting ones all over Kamakura. Hope you got a chance to go to Enoshima which is very close by. Lots of fun there too.
I only went to the Big Buddha. Too bad you didn't ride the Enoden Line and go to Enoshima Island. It was so nice there, imagine using a long bridge like walking on water. And there's an escalator to the top. Nice view and many shops too up and down back to Enoshima station.
Man, that black sesame ice cream looked so good. Never had it with the kinako powder on it. The warabi mochi is a fave of mine but I've never seen it served as a big block, just smaller chunks.
i remember that when we went to Kamakura we took the time to watch how japanese people were on the beach!!! It was fascinating to me to see that they were fully dressed :)
I am still so confused why you keep going back and forth on your Japan and India content.. as a travel channel it's driving me crazy! One place at a time
Thanks for the feedback Kristiana. Our reason for doing it is because the trip I took to India was without Audrey and it is a long series. We don't want to run a big series on our channel without both of us in the episodes so the India series is more like a bonus one on Thursdays and Fridays and our regular schedule for Japan on the weekends (Saturdays and Sundays) is still going to be running. I hope that clears things up a bit.
I live near San Francisco. Black sesame is a pretty common flavor in local ice cream shops here. It's my favorite. I too think ube (purple yam) is pretty subtle. Buddha was stunning. How do you psychologically process all these amazing sights and experiences? I saw it was super touristy, but I think I'd have to stand in front of that Buddha for a long time.
OMG guys that whitebait omelette looks extremely delish! I'd love to go to Japan. Thanks to these vids, Japan is now at the top of my asian destination wish list. Keep up the good work. Farting is a pastime I will never part with.
yea, vlogger often says "every vlogger talks about how great the culture and cities etc..but no one warns me its climate of japan on their vlog". and yea i agree. coz it should seriously be mentioned for someone thinking of coming to japan along with all the other goodness :D

I have no idea why but I get so excited to hear Audrey 😅 she's just such a bubbly, fun person 😁 guys I really am loving the Japan vlogs ❤️ I just wanted to know, how was the communication between you guys and them? Everyone there did seem very friendly but is there a huge language barrier? And I can't wait for more Japan vlogs 🎉
Hi guys, as always your videos are fabulous, I love that apple cinnamon taiyaki it sounds so flaky 😍 you had me at that one lol. Everything looks delicious there that you tried.

You guys got me a bit confused. Sam is in India ALONE, you both are in Japan(in June?). So the Japan trip isn't happening right now? Where are you guys right now? Thanks and travel safe.
2:42 私達日本人は寺に酒を奉納する習慣を持ちません。だからそこは神社です。We Japanese don't have the habit that dedicate booze to the Buddhist temples. So if you find them out, the place is definitely a Shinto shrine. Don't confuse between the temples and shrines otherwise you seem something like a person who doesn't have respect on both Buddhism and Shintoism.
Beautiful video. So many colors. Oh, mochi balls, yum.
Thanks Sarah! The mochi balls were delicious.
Great food! Loved the ice cream! The temple with the giant Buddha is amazing!

That Matcha N sweet potato ice cream was so cute with the colour combination n looked tempting !!

Thanks Scott! It was one of our favorite days trips. The mochi and black sesame ice cream I'd say was the best.
Shonan-Shinjyuku line is so good. The line transports us from the metro area to seaside beach area ,without changing trains.
Totally agree with you! Such a great line.

Thank you! We certainly noticed how busy it was. Wow, over 100 temples! I feel like staying a night or two is warranted to explore more.
many cheap guesthouses along the beach. Enoshima also worth a visit.
Looks like Japan has a lot of weird street food. Love Audrey's sunglasses!
Thank you! These items were definitely the most unique we've encountered in Japan.

You can go straight to Kamakura from Narita Airport - which is why there are SO MANY tourists
