I am a beginner to woodwork, the main test I have with this bundle th-cam.com/users/postUgkxTNB_zFBSnTo_O1PqfVUwgi7ityw0JlKt is that I think that its hard to settle on a choice of the plan and outline to use as there are a large portion of them there. Nonetheless, I like the simple stride to step directions laid out there.
All those beautiful scraps cut off. Could be knife handles and pen blanks. I'm crying inside

There is a great section on different wood and what to use for what kind of job and a similar section for tools as well. The projects in it are things you probably would have a go at with clear instructions, pictures, videos and diagrams throughout. Great for a beginner/amateur wood worker.
What kind of a wood is this, it has really nice texture at the end, I like it.
A couple of thin slices off that would have made an awesome dash board for my truck! Lol

И что в итоге получилось? Вишенку в углубление положить или свечку поставить? Где тут лучшая резьба в мире? Токарные работы среднего уровня. Хороший красивый материал а изделие непонятного предназначения и далеко не красивое.
это не материал даже , это корневище пальмы , материал полное гавно , он никакой просто только капилярный рисунок хоть как то его красит , а работа реально 1 класс 2 четверть , слепил что то непонятно зачем , бред полный , диз однозначно

When you're to seeing lovely bowls, hollow forms and other resin cast turnings all the time, this can be hard to accept. But everyone's got an idea & culture plays a big part. This is an absolutely stunning outcome, love it or not, it is definitely appreciated wherever it is now. He should have done this and that and so much waste, really? All along he had that in his mind before execution and he delivered. Acknowledge and then give your view before jumping into negativity.
There is a great deal of waste of this valuable wood.

Amazing talent considering the fact that he doesn’t have an adjustable tool rest and that tool has a very long reach. One mistake and that tool is moving somewhere awfully fast. The angle grinder takes care of the chatter, but the guy is good at whaat he does.
