Well said. I wish they still did this man. You don't see any background footage anymore at ALL, except in kpop nowadays. It's a shame, the entertainment industry needs to come back to its roots and show the people the WORK behind the PRODUCT... it might be taken seriously again lol
One of the BTS rappers Agust D just dropped a new music video Haegeum, it's like a whole ass Korean neo-noir crime film with great storytelling. Nsync had their own Achy Breaky Heart and Macarena moment….the difference is Bye Bye Byes is ACTUALLY a very good song😂. And let’s not forget, No Strings Attached also gave us the iconic “This I Promise You,” which cemented Nsync as not just a generic boyband who can kind of carry a tune or dance ( let’s be real most boybands don’t even dance, they either chair sit or flop side to side), but they showcased to the world they not only can sing the most beautiful balanced 5 part harmonies, but they ALSO possessed the best boyband vocalist of all time, Mr. Joshua Chasez! On the Celebrity album, they had some good hits, but most of the songs were kind of annoying as they were heavily focused as a “Justin coming out solo album,” that, and the fact the annoying “dirty pop” style singing they started to dive into didn’t highlight their vocal gifts and felt gimmicky, forced and fake. Also, the beatboxing at the end of the single “Dirty Pop,” was so pointless and stupid. It added nothing to the song. It would have been equivalent to Justin coming out on camera and making noises with his armpits, but at least then it would have been enjoyable and comical to watch that on their music video than the stupid beatboxing featured AND pointlessly keeping it on the album audio track! “Gone” should NOT have BEEN a single for their “slow paced” song too. But what was it to be expected when management was grooming Justin to become the “Breakout” act?
