I'm kind of irritated that Aidan O'Brien withdrew Imperial Monarch out of the Irish Derby. He didn't get his chance at Epsom either, and he got a horrid trip in the Prix Du Jockey Club in France. IMO, that's almost entirely a throw out race for him. O'Brien has generally always put his top 3 or 4 3yr.old's in the Irish Derby field and said may the best horse win. A good example being in 2010 when he had Cape Blanco, Jan Vermeer, Midas Touch, and At First Sight all in the Irish Derby field.
Akeed Mofeed was later transferred to Hong Kong to have some successes there.
