I can't decide if I like this track or In the Dawn more, though I can safely say they both stand as a couple of my favorite Trails title themes. That melody is so catchy!
@@agunkorea2995 On the contrary, currently Falcom is for me one of best rpg developer ... As I though that Persona 5 was the best , Kuro no Kiseki obliterated P5
This game better be peak with this track! Kuro 1 was mid so I hope that I can feel emotion with this one after my wife left me. Don't fail me again Kondo!
This sounds more like Koguchi to me personally, given the backing guitar that seem present in his other songs here, the Koguchi-like chord progressions, and the fact that the more pop-ish sound of the electronic elements present here sound a bit unusual for Unisuga in my opinion. Regardless of who made it though, this song is really good, and has quickly become one of my personal favorite title screen themes in the series (alongside A Faint Glimmer of Light).
@@quinceymorris2595 i haven't paid that much attention to koguchi's songwriting but if this is him, he's got the Unisuga blueprint down to a science, even has Unisuga's signature lick at the 0:40 mark
@@GanymedePrincss Definitely yeah, Koguchi's work in general for this game has been super good. I can easily see him becoming one of the all-time Falcom greats in the future if he keeps this up. The amount of improvement he's shown in such a short amount of time is really impressive.
Can't offer any in-depth take on this but the instrumentation and mixing seems a lot closer to Koguchi's Kuro 1 stuff and especially 1:48 is present in a lot of his tracks in some shape or form (0:40 in beyond the dawn, 1:30 in decay and the animal trail, etc) and basically his signature lick
@@GanymedePrincss Not really signature when it's present in many other Japanese videogame compositions, even Michiru Yamane does it throughout the Castlevania series.
Man... I don't really know stuff about music. But.. I know this is not Unisuga... Doesn't feel like the type of stuff he usually makes. So why does it have the Unisuga signature 😭. It's painful that it makes me remember the old days...
Because Koguchi is trying to follow in his footsteps. He's honestly a better Unisuga for me so far, been absolutely loving his work in comparison. Don't get me wrong. I love a lot of Unisuga's work. Just not some of his normal battle themes, prefer things like Norse Wind or Glessing Way in Ys IX to Desert After Tears, etc. He will be missed for a long time and we'll never forget his music, just like Uematsu for Final Fantasy. But no composer is perfect, and all composers bring their own spice and something different to the table!
One of the best opening tracks, insane how they went 2/2 on kuro themes.
Kuro title screen themes never miss, I love this so much!
I love it when they change the background everytime you finish a chapter
This song… man.
It's my favourite title screen track since Start Line (CS3)
キレイな曲だけど、どこか悲哀を感じさせる曲と思ってました。
クリア後に妙に納得しましたねぇ、前作のタイトル画面の曲もそうですけど。

Yes hard to choice which one is the best
Koguchi does incredible again. Great composition and instrumentation.
A new favorite of mine from the guy.
Those are the type of tracks that will make me hesitate before loading my save file lol
Kuro no kiseki "in the dawn" ost was superb and this one for Crimson Sin don't dissapoint ! I can't wait to get my copy for this game
Falcom should just let Koguchi do more tracks, he really understands the soul of falcom music
Falcom is soulles now 💀

Wrong.
Kinguchi 😌
Am I the only one that thinks this sounds like the cold steel 2 title screen theme
The best in kuro II
Insert King Recon video

I disagree completely, kuro 1 had some amazing ost, Open the Shard is one of my favourite battle music.
Falcom had to dig out Unisuga's unused material for this game huh
Not that I'm complaining this is absolutely SOUL
