This was already such a good song, but then 2:52 kicked in and it's like goddamn. Jindo really knows how to cash in on his loops and elevate the entire melody to something else. I've been pretty hit or miss with his stuff in the past, but Kuro has been hands down his best stuff so far. Legit cannot think of a single track he's done outside of maybe Boss Theme 5 that I thought didn't just hit the nail on the head and this track is no exception.
Holy shit this is so good. May just be my favorite final dungeon theme yet, at the very least it's easily up there with the likes of Phantasmal Blaze, Hollow Light of the Sealed Land or Spiral of Erebos. All hail King Jindo, thank you for giving this soundtrack some sorely needed bangers.

Funny you mentioned xenoblade. I discovered falcom because I wanted more great jrpgs like the xeno games. I stumbled upon Ys first and thats how I eventually became a fan.

It seems they've been pretty adamant using Singa a lot more than Jindo or their internal staff, if the numbers of this OST or Hajimari are anything to go by. This isn't really a Singa issue more so than its Falcom willing to invest in someone who's production quality is cheap & inconsistent with the other contributors.
