To all you "EXPERTS", the vent cap on the oil pan was OPEN. Look closely at the video 3:45 beyond the funnel. The Vent cap was in fact OPEN
To get the slug out put plugs back in block both ends of tractor up put in some Diesel fuel for rinse only use a blower nozzle with a rubber hose on it about 16 inches long that will stir it up real good then remove plugs again let it drain for about 8 hrs that should clean slug out
Great job. Only addition I would have is I would take the covers off the final drives so you can clean out whatever junk has collected down there and inspect the condition of your bull gears.
About to change the fluids on my AC 615. Been outside since it was new. I’m not sure about the previous maintenance.
Does the oil clear up if u let it sit overnight? I have a gearbox on a small walk behind implement oil looks the same after I run it for 10 min. But the air goes out when it sits.
Final drive gears have the most tooth pressure therefore high viscosity gear oil is a must.
If you have to hit the drain plugs try putting a old extension in them, then hit the extension

You should get a bigger cresent wrench for those small plugs dudette.
When that tractor was new they would find a dirt or gravel road and let everything run out onto the ground!
I would first fill it with an inexpensive lightweight oil 5-30 and then run it around with no load, then after a few weeks drain it and put your high quality GL5 in.
Also the plug you pulled on the final drive, thats the fill plug. It shouldn't be filled higher than that hole.

Crack the cap on the drain pan.
Fill it full of diesel, run it for about 20 minutes and then drain; will dissolve anything in there.
What would you do with the filter?
Dump some diesel fuel in there and drive the tractor around and let the diesel dissolve that sludge. Drain the diesel and top off with new universal tractor fluid.
get rid of the cressent wrench. use the right tool for the job.
Get a bucket.

hit that cast iron harder with a hammer ! then be sure to make sure that oil collection container vent hole is closed tight!
Hammers and cast iron make me nervous! I flinched watching that part, personally I would have just gone straight to trying to turn them. You guys are braver than I!
I'm not taking mechanical advice from someone who doesn't know how to operate the pressure relief cap on an oil pan.
It was open. Look with your eyes and not with your mouth. 3:45 beyond the funnel
you should put a pail bucket to catch the oil in the first place
A “pail bucket” doesn’t have a spout. Therefore, disposing of used oil from a bucket will most likely cause spillage.
An oil catch pan (as used in the video) does in fact have a spout.
@@OldSoulMillennial I would try to pump out from top with battery powered pump, then drain from bottom, easier to control
