Need to be an In-Guild member in good standing for honour. If you're not Shadow Thieves, Night Masks or Shadowmasters, you're not In-Guild and you're fair game.
My favourite thing as a rogue is if you succeed the lockpick on the door you find Shadowheart at, she says something like "Oh, you just... opened it?" after doing her whole "by all means, go ahead" a moment ago
Should've gone with the war widow line, the kid cracks right away. Starts explaining how his scam is nothing like war widow's and goes "oh crap" on how he just busted himself. 10/10 would support this motley crew again. :D
I thought it was so cool I could call that sneaky little baby out as a rogue with Sleight of Hand! It made me feel like the choices I made in CC mattered :P
Your character reminds me of Pieck from Attack on Titan. I was in such a hurry to start that I picked an origin character, but the detail on even the customs is crazy!
@@Eggsecuter Just the first one as a monk so I could punch everything lol. (Same thing I did for Pillars of Eternity- great game btw.) Perhaps I could finish BG2 before BG3 actually launches haha.
Man, this hurts, the worst part is : SPOILERS : If you go down the evil route, the goblins literally find the kid’s hide out and there’s just a pile of young dead tieflings. I never hated doing the bad route more, especially when I had to see Z’s reaction :(
the thiefling girl thats near him steals your gold and runs away in a hole, i was pissed off i couldn't even smack him at the back of the head when is called him out
heh.. you should have friended him first before talking.. i walk in like a boss in so many npcs. the goons thats come to get you.. is part of another quest to get a new teammate.. the devil ranger
ooo now we know theres are ranger, paladin, and druid companions Loool I stole from him first and went in that little cave and Mol was said something about revenge so I quickloaded back ahah

Also, this game seriously gonna have dice rolls in speech checks? These dudes never played a computer RPG huh? You wanna have speech checks in a game that lets you quickload, it's gotta have a flat stat requirement.
You never played Dungeons and Dragons didnt you? :D The fun of the game is to go with your rolls even the horribly failed ones, not being a little save scumming shit :D there were no saves in pen and paper DnD. This is an DnD game, if you dont like it, dont play it.
@@MultiRoths Aside from ironman runners, everybody "save scums." When you get killed in a game, do you start over from the beginning, or do you load? You obviously load. What's wrong with loading after a failed speech check, then? Why let that go, but reload deaths? Baldur's Gate 3 (and the original two) are VIDEO GAMES based on pen and paper DnD. When you move a game from paper to computer screen, certain adjustments have to be made. Speech checks are one of them. Adding chance to such a static element of the game makes no sense, it punishes players who rely on speech checks to immerse themselves in their character's role by making them fail stuff that they should succeed, and rewards players who 'save scum' by letting them pass almost all speech rolls with enough reloading. And the reason why failing speech rolls in pen and paper is fun is because you're hanging out with people and that makes it easier to laugh off that fail. In a SP computer RPG, it's just you and the computer, and the shit's giving you bad dice rolls. Everyone reloads.
They actually added weighted die to counter really unlucky and lucky rolls in patch 4. The dice rolls were pretty fun on my rogue and warlock characters, it didn’t matter if I succeeded or not because there was almost always a work-around or a different approach available. Plus, I didn’t really need to, high charisma is a blessing. That being said I did save scum on some of my characters. (Ugh, shadowheart dialogue rolls what can I say? lmao. But this was for extra extra dialogue reveals.) don’t let the dice rolls bother you too much, it’s only early access, you don’t need to do everything perfectly.
Helping a young rogue out by teaching him the first and most important lesson: There is no honour amongst thieves.
I cackled at this

Yeah, she thought lmao
You just need to be able to open it I think. My urban tracker ranger did it and she said that
I had Astarion do it later on in the game and she said that then too.
My wizard opened it easily
My Warlock did it after bragging about how good his magic was lmao.

Ahh yes, Cunningham's Law at work.
The most realistic part about this is that her inventory is full at level 2
rogue's meeting is always great
The answer you trigger when you state it's the War Widow scam is really funny :)
Loool I feel liek I should upload that version too

I love how expressive these characters are!
what face is this @0:10 is still available in Final game ?😅

That was so adorable.
Bruh I can’t wait for the next act and new classes and races
Gosh same, I was so excited at the ending. Then Sven came out with all the other developers at the end and trolled us lmao.

:( This is why I could only try out the goblin path once
I would feel bad about this spoiler (thanks for the alert, btw)...if i wasn't a professional save scummer anyway...
Mention the war widow scam as others have mentioned, then you pass 2 perceptions checks and catch the "bodyguard" trying to pickpocket you :D
How 2 years ago?
'I knew it, hang on'
*Does the macarena
Okay that ending had me laughing.
"Two scammers walk into a bar....."
2:51 - You sneaky thief!
what are these cute adorable demons? I didn't played this game yet
tiefling children ahha
Your character looks like the mom from Malcom In The Middle.
Lois? Hahaha I can’t un-see this now.
Does anyone know what he actually steals?
no idea so I stole his gold lmaooo
He plants the ring to you no idea why
if you take his ring in the dialogue options his goonies try to come and get you later lmaoo

Oh you just see him hide his money, so it appears on the shop.

Call me Professor Oak cuz I wanna know what that Tiefling's gender is.
I been confused like that for all the tiefling children in the grove. They all look the same and sound the same to me. 😂
It's a boy according to the game's Wiki.
