Luis Suarez in his prime wasn't just about goals. He was one of the best finishers, lots of assists and a nightmare for every defender.

Even the phrase the big 4 which were Man Utd, Arsenal, Chelsea and Liverpool it gained popularity during that period. Also around that time, almost every UCL final had an English team in it (i think it was 7 out 8 finals).

Suarez has always been nonexistent in the UCL. He has less than 30 goals. He scored 82 goals in 133 Liverpool appearances, which isn't that impressive.
He did have one unbelievable season with Barcelona in which he was otherworldly.
All in all, I'd say that Suarez had a higher peak so far than Lewy, but it lasted very short. Lewandowski has a much longer and much more consistent peak which is more important IMO. Including being consistently good in the UCL.

Luis Suarez no doubt... in the 2013-2014 last Liverpool season... he outperformed Messi and Ronaldo... it was the best performance by a premier League player ever (for a single season) his goals included no penalty... and he scored some astonishing goals/absolutely 40 yards wonders in that season

Suarez only has a prime, and thats literaly the only argument. He was amazing at his prime but thats it. After that you cant compare Lewy to Suarez. Last time Suarez scored an away ucl goal, Obama was a president, that was 6 years ago. Lewandowski has been consistent like Messi and Ronaldo. He scored 40+ goals in 6 seasons in a row. After Messi and Ronaldo he was the best player last couple of years. Yes he plays in a weaker league, but keep in mind that all top leagues has weak teams, and Bundesliga has 18 teams while LaLiga 20. Thats 4 more games against the 2 weakest teams in the league. Also Lewandowski is third top scorer in ucl, and after the 2 goats he is the top scorer in KO stages also. IMO he is better, but thats just my oppinion. Lewa definitely a legendary goalscorer but the question was who was better in their prime and that was Suarez. At his prime he rivaled Messi and Ronaldo at their best. Saying Lewa is battling now with Ronaldo and Messi who are both past their prime is under different circumstances then when Suarez was doing it. Suarez was just special to watch for both Liverpool and Barca. It’s just a shame it didn’t last as long as it should’ve 😔

Suarez is great but he played alongside Messi which is huge boost. Lewandowski is something else - recently the guy scored his 40+ goal in 6th consecutive season. Suarez scored 40+ goals only two times in his career. Also, Lewa is one of the most complete strikers in football's history so I will go with him every time.

career I would probably take Lewandoski, but prime Suarez was a beast and could do more with the football. There both over 500 goals scored for club and country with Lewandoski 40+ goals ahead and still going strong while Suarez has definitely slowed down a bunch. I think it's a bit unfair to make this comparison yet, we've already seen what Suarez can do in his prime but we don't even know when Lewandowski will reach his, everyone thought last season was his prime when he should have won the Ballon Dor but this year he is even better
Lewandowski isn't in his prime , prime is your peak years between 23-28 that's usually prime. He hasn't improved at all in any aspect, him winning the UCL scoring an astonishing ONE goal in a 8-2 thrashing of Barça isn't impressive. Him scoring one goal against Lyon after Ganbry saved him isn't impressive. Him getting saved by Koman isn't him being in his prime.
What's happening here is that his benefiting from Messi and Cr7 decline/teams decline, he is on by far the most dominant side in one of the easiest leagues arguably easier than eredevise. He's finally been Lorded as the best player in the world after these two decline. Wow how impressive. When actually he still isn't the best, Messi is still obviously better as well as Neymar even Cr7 I'd take still as well as Mbappé.
