What i forgot to mention is that if you fail the 1st Roll the 2nd Roll will not happen and you will get the base rarity of the node that was decided by the server.
This really just does not feel good as-is. With static-rarity nodes, it just leads to timer-camping. With Hunting, it leads to harvesting for literally weeks on end and never seeing a single legendary, because it's nearly impossible for them to even exist.
I like the base rarity system but I also dislike the static-rarity node and the fixed respawn timer. If they tweak this and apply base rarity to hunting it should be good for now.
It is not working like that for mining nodes. Everything else is correct. I'm guessing it is supposed to work this way for mining, but a code mistake is causing a problem. It is easy to prove my statement, but I do not want to explain it and I'm sure the other people that have figured it out do not want to explain it either
Don't forget bag help with rarity. So, the JM bag will give you better stats than novice. You're allowed to carry three bags. Have all three bags for hunting example. Boosted changes a lot.
It's a flawed system, your level should be added to the first roll, or at least influences it in some way. Right now, artisan level only determines what gear you can equip.

So should the price of a heroic carcass be 1000X that of a common, since it's 1 out of every 1000?
i would say it already is no? Think a hc carcass is at least 15g which is pretty much 1000x the common price

But how are u meassuring raritys in the character? Its on how many items? How rare they are? Both?
The rarity for the first roll is Rarity Increase Rating, stat that you can get from your tool and from gathering clothing (belt, pants, shirt)

Yes, they do help in rarity but it feels like a big investment for low benefits as of right now.
@@jloby563 Correct but, you can also craft bags to get even better stats btw. Those bags also can have increase speed of harvest not just rarity.

There will be an entire artisan skill tree for each profession, meaning the current system is just incomplete
