I thought they where trading him lol 😆
Doc that guy!!! 8th most all time wins !! Championship, also known to lock down superstars 💯💯Doc all day
Ahhhahahahahaha. Try to criticize the rest of the season and see if you weren’t gobbling your own words :)
When they signed Doc Rivers their season was over. Failure after failure with superstars on every team he's coached.
I agree.
How can they lose to the G league Grizzlies 😂
Agreed. As soon as they got Doc, I got excited for the Rdcworld1 videos
No shit sherlock.
Their season failed when they traded all their guard defenders and starting 2 shooters who aren’t playmakers 😂 Beasley is a liability on defense so much so if he’s missing shots and not scoring 18 then he’s a liability to have out there and might as well play someone else. And Middleton is constantly hurt and instead of trading him they get ride of all their good guard defenders
I can understand feeling like Griffin wasn’t the guy and wanting to move on from him, but hiring Doc given his track record is straight up incompetent.
The Warriors are thankful.
Bring back Bud it made the most sense. Although the biggest issue is they got rid of drew and he was one of the biggest reasons for their defense being plausible
Still, i have no idea why they were so worried. I get that 40 games in does not mean EVERYTHING, but such a talented team why not take a shot? Any coach is better than doc rivers..
Tbh I would sue the front office for breaching their fiduciary duty or something if I was invested in them 😂
Dumb take people always make. Doc has a ring. Probably like 20 coaches in league now with no ring
It’s insane how much run this guy has gotten from ONE championship…during the Bush administration.
Going to start calling him “Doc Carlesimo”.
Although I don’t think the namesake’s run of **three good college games in March that built a lifetime reputation** can ever be beaten !
Facts and I hate that this is the most accurate comment on this feed.
😂😂😂
yeah maybe they should fire him and hire a white coach so you can complain about how there are so few black coaches ...
Because he has 1..stupid take, like most coaches have a ring
Literally everyone EXCEPT the bucks saw this coming 😂
As soon as I heard Doc Rivers was named the head coach, I said out loud, "so, the Bucks don't like winning, do they"
Doc had a v good winning record, its finals and keeping stars happy main issues
They been winning tho
Patrick Beverley is trying to be the first player to have played on every team.
You don't get rid of a first year coach who has you at the top of the east because everything isn't perfect. Like...wtf....
Facts smh 😂…ima Bucks fan and they shouldn’t have tried to fix something that wasn’t broken 🤦♂️
He lost the team a long time ago and he wasn’t getting it back. Poor hire in the first place.
The bigger issue is that this is an old and terribly constructed roster.
Giannis will not be here longer than maybe 1 more year.
Should always get at least 3-4 years
@@Mr.Dobalina113that’s not even true.. and if it is sounds like it’s more of the bum ass players. Or even higher up for making those trades.. facts is he had them atop the east and doing much better than doc.. if he “lost” the locker room then Doc is doing nothing but making sure another locker room won’t come back
@@resignJJ2 minimum 3 max.. NBA teams ain’t got time to baby sit coaches either. Not saying you have to win a championship but at least have deep playoff runs
I told my dad the Bucks hired Doc Rivers when he was hired, he laughed and left the room. Came back to me later and went holy shit you weren’t kidding
Daddy ain’t laughing now
What?
shoulda kept budenholser😭
Bucks fans wanted coach Bud fired
@@Kingtutt414 And there are certain people who refuse to understand why
@LightStreak567 I mean I understand why. Bud got lucky that Giannis and KD's big toe bailed him out. Otherwise he would have been gone that year. Either way, Nick Nurse was the call.
I said this ! Why they let him go anyway? His coaching would have shown Dame how to play something other than Portland ball
Milwaukee did right and fired Bud
The Head Coach is important.
Doc is the WORST they could do. He’s a dinosaur game planner and he has NO adjustments. The Bucks seem to WANT to lose now. Lol
Bucks weren't dominating, but they are winning, I just don't understand why front office decided it is a good idea to fire their coach while winning. And Doc's career had proved he is better with mediocore team than team with super star
Doc's in NBA's 15 greatest coaches of all-time and has the ninth most regular-season wins by an NBA coach all-time. After watching the way they treated PJ Tucker and letting the best defensive point guard go, I'm convinced that franchise and its fans are some of the dumbest in the nba. Keep blaming Doc 😂
@@AvidUTuberBucks were winning, second in east - at least can thrash non contender teams - then Doc came - starts losing to teams like memphis- now lets blame players then or the franchise for making moves for Giannis to stay. lol. now thats smart indeed like what - you're Docs daughter? 🤣😂Among the top 15 he is the most OVERRATED on that list with a SINGLE championship (thanks to Tom Thibodeau in charge of defense in his Celtics heydays). his single merit is some 1000+ REGULAR season win. He was supposed to be a "REGULAR SEASON" coach and they are losing. now lets not get into his post season chokes - it will be hilarious. 😂
Doc is 8th all time wins in nba history has a ring and known to lock down superstar players !!! The hate on Doc is real!!!
Ahhahhahaha. Remember all the shit you talked about this team. Remember to eat all that shit the more they just keep dominating til the chip
They messed up when they fired the coach that helped win them a Championship.
They should’ve stuck with Griffin at least this season. Then change next season. Now it’s like they changing directions midstream for a process that was working.
The firing of Griffin over defensive issues was a mistake.
The issue is their personnel- adding Lillard and losing Holiday is a massive change in defensive efficiency.
Obviously Dame is a generational talent. But not on the defensive end.
Lose a great defender in Jrue, add a poor defender in Lillard and factor in a declining Middleton, and this is the result.
This Bucks team is not the same because their defensive guys are either traded or declining. Simple.
Yea getting rid of Grayson Allen wasn’t a great decision either.
🤣
Seriously, Doc has the 1 ring to rule them all…
One does not simply hire doc rivers
@@mekhifreeman6804This is a certified classic meme moment
💀
As a sixers fan hiring Doc was the beginning of the end. Unfortunately it's gonna be a 1st rd exit
It’s crazy how EVERY nba FAN knew that was the worst hiring ever 🤣🤣🤣
Doc is the NBA's modern version of a Trojan Horse. As long as he's not the HC of my team, happy to see other teams keep signing him!
Doc rivers championship pedigree? He has one ring and it’s arguable that the Celtics were a super team when he won so they didn’t need him, championship pedigree 😂hilarious
I’m a Celtics fan and I absolutely agree.
I don't think people realize rondo was basically the brains on the court doc was not as impactful as he thinks
And he almost blew it that year too 😂
Agree, I never understood why Doc status is so high. That Celtic team could achieve more than just one ring.
Former Celtics went on record and said Doc wasn’t coaching shit 😭 they were on the floor coaching each other, especially Pierce and KG lmao
They love to hate on Miami but the Heat would never bury their franchise for one player. Buck basically up ended their future for one player who may leave if things get worse.
Silly Milwaukee straight what's Miami excuse
@@theetruth8626 127 - 97 heat over bucks🤷🏾♂️

@@justified9537but 1 team has gotten a chip with the main star, yet the heat haven’t

The truth is the Bucks should have never traded for Lilard! Although he is a great offensive player he doesn’t fit! He is a major defensive liability. Then hiring Doc is yet another mistake!
Not saying it isn't partially Doc's fault, but you are definitely right. Lillard should have never been traded for. He's like a stuck-up high school student who thinks he deserves better than coming to Milwaukee.
ok im not a hater but i never new how tall lillard was until i saw him next to Giannis on the picture taking in the beginning of the season. Milwaukee is a tall team and lilard cant play defense
Why are ya'll blaming Lillard for all the defence? You have a DPOY and another DPOY candidate on the same team...
@@bradleygermain6288 dame has never won anything
They got rid of Bud only for them to want to go back to the same schemes? Why let Bud go then? lol Poor management
Stop it Doc trying to play a faster pace instead of that weak half court offense Bud was playing
@@theetruth8626 lol please think before you reply. Was talking about the Griffin situation.
@@Brad19414 then u think before writing and say Griffin.
@@theetruth8626 lol why should i? Use critical thinking but that's too much for you.
As a Bucks fan, I’m not liking Doc being in Milwaukee 🤦🏻♀️
Nobody wants doc & the fact that he keeps getting a job is crazy
Well y’all got what y’all wanted and giannis gonna be Milwaukee greatest downfall
I agree 😢
Wait til the playoffs. He doesn't know how to adjust on the fly.
This team is terribly put together now thats not docs fault. They traded away all their good guard defenders and starting 2 shooting guards who don’t play defense (lets be honest here Dame is not a true Point Guard he’s a shooting guard who plays point) and Malik Beasley if he’s not scoring good numbers and missing his shots he’s basically a liability to have out there and he’s playing 35 min games. Not to mention it’s making Giannis have to do more offensively since Dame and Beasley are missing shots and it affects his defense. He’s having to do now more than ever and they are losing more
Why the hell did the Bucks hire Doc Rivers of all people to be the head coach knowing the leads he’s blown and the playoff collapses. Also they could have still traded for Dame while also keeping Jrue Holiday.
Not possible cuz the blazers want jrue not Middleton
What y'all always telling half the story. How many years have Cp3 was injured in the playoffs on the clippers. Same with Blake and Garnett on Boston. Teams need their stars
@@larrywang152stop lying Milwaukee wasn't offering Khris
Jrue and dame wouldn't do well on the same team. I don't think they'd bump heads, but you're not maximizing either of their talent with both of them on the floor
I called it months ago on a vid of yours about the hiring. As a Bulls fan, we knew Griffin was a snake on the sidelines and a locker room divider and an ultimate saboteur. He sabotaged the team by running Stots out, who was an obvious fallback or stopgap if Griffin failed, like he ultimately did. Jimmy told us all 🤷🏻♂️
Stotts was garbage and needed to go
@@theetruth8626 makes no sense. How was Stotts the problem?
@@theetruth8626 Pretty much all your comments are idiotic
Giannis is the snake
Yet Giannis endorsed him when he was hired, so....
You know its serious when he breaks out the Carl Sagan turtleneck.
The horrific mistake was firing Budenholzer. But they got Pat Bev and Gallinari so they should be all good. Lol.
When it comes to coaching: 70% win rookie > 30% win veteran.
The whole legend about Coach Doc is based on the fact that the Boston 2008 squad had a lot of experience and huge balls, and they needed a friendly flair from the guy with the towel, who cheered them on in timeouts with his signature "Kamon let's go"
the bucks are reaping what they have sown😂
bucks can actually build something with griffin, i could still remember how spo 1st year on heat. crazy
We should've kept Coach bud and jrue holiday.
Don’t forget PJ Tucker.
Doc saying anything about a vacation when he just started is crazy
Fire a coach having a good season then add another and get worse is crazy i would've keep Griffin
Im really loving the karma of this situation if he's losing like this in the regular season this the coach you bringing to the playoffs your gonna be out in the first round
Especially if they play the pacers.🤣🤣🤣
Doc was the only name the ownership knew although their first choices were Red Auerbach and Phil Jackson.
What they call "experience coaching superstars" i call "failing miserably with superstars on the roster, except for Boston".
Damn, maybe I can be an NBA coach too.
Bruh......i let your vids bump while im brushing my teethers you always bring content i truly appreciate thank you mike for the time & care you put into each video your a true master of your craft keep bringing us fire ass hitters my dewd please & thank you 🫡
The Bucks were a middle of the pack defensive team even last season. They decide to then get rid of their best defenders and got mad at their coach for being a mod-bottom defensive team. Griffin had to overcompensate for what he knew they couldn't fix defensively for their offense and for the most part it was working. Doc has come in, messed up the offense for 'slightly' better defense and The Bucks are now going 3-7 in their last 10. Griffin was doing the right thing. But organizations blaming coaches when THEY screw up the team is nothing new./ They got rid of the Bucks best defenders and expected them to stay a middle of the pack defensive team OR BETTER.. and then blamed the Coach for not being able to turn people who haven't been defenders for years into defenders.
This new intro hype and keeps classic visuals is good touch
Bucks signing doc rivers is like someone telling u they are going to get black out drunk, n drive home...... u know whats gonna happen
I swear, Doc Rivers must be the luckiest less talented coach ever. He always inherits teams filled with superstars, to lose in the second round being up 3-1 or 3-0
I am not a Doc fan but I think there is been too much emphasis on coaching and not enough on players. Lillard had regressed a lot where his shooting percentage and accuracy has dropped off significantly and they have not replaced Holiday.
If Dame's shooting % had regressed, he wouldn't win the 3pt All Star contest...the problem isn't with Dame...nor Giannis...the problem sits with Jon Horst who has the job of finding the right chemistry for the team. The problem started last year following Terry Stotts departure . That's a big a deal and easily affected Dame's performance. That signals a red flag for Griffin. If I was Jon Horst, I'd be on the phone to Terry Stotts. You don't allow successful partnership like Dame and Terry blow up overnight. You call up Terry to work things out asap. I think Marc Lasry had a big part to play in the Bucks success. Since his departure in February 2023, things have taken a turn.
@@alexo5303 Dame winning the 3pt contest on the exhibition game does not mean that he has not regressed. Based on his game stats, his shooting accuracy has fallen significantly from his prime. That’s what happens when a team makes a trade for a superstar but that said superstar regress in the new season and ages overnight. I do agree however that they should have respected and retains Terry Stotts because he could help integrate Dame in Bucks offense. I also noticed significant regression from Kris Middleton and Lopez. They need more offense and defense so I don’t see them passing the second round this year unfortunately.
I feel like it was a very bad decision for them because they even had to pray after a loss😂
Rip 🪦 anymore championships with bucks this decade
I heard someone say theyre not sure if Dame agreed on firing Griffin, it was giannis call.
You consistently put out good content. 👍
It's not just that they have a coaching problem, but they also have a roster problem where they're getting old. They should've prioritized getting younger to bring more energy and to extend Giannis window of winning.
And I don't mean getting rid of all the old guys, but keep a few important guys, and the rest should be mid 20yo guys that can still contribute.
Doc rivers should never been put in as all star coach. Didn’t coach enough games. Should of put the Knicks coach in or Cleveland coach
Mike gonna hit 1 mil before may

I love Giannis, but he is dumb af if he didnt advocate for Nick Nurse.
Milwaukee stuck with giannis
Legit a braindead move lmao
@@FilthyMcNasty69 yeah they done
Giannis doesn't want to be held accountable that's why he didn't advocate for Nurse
It’s not even the damn coaching. JRUE HOLIDAY COVERED A TON OF THEIR DEFENSIVE LIABILITIES!!!
Wassup Mike I love your vids
I always imagine Doc Rivers telling his team's "Just go out there and have fun"
This is why I subscribe!👍🏽
Placed my futures bet right before doc was hired. Immediately knew I lost my money when they announced him. So what the defense was spotty? They were top of the East and could’ve still made slight adjustments and put in more work
Doc Rivers Should Go To The Loston Celtics 😅
Yes
😂😂😂🔥🔥 HEAT fan here, we can't wait to get Bucks again...🔥🔥🔥🔥 in 5 3rd time coming...
I don't understand why they would hire Doc when we all know his track record
And he stay throwing his guys under the bus
Losing Jrue didn't help either. He put in 40 mins a game of work for the Bucks during that chip run.
The turtleneck almost managed to hide the double-chin
These vets should take over n win no matter the bad coaching....got to keep Dame in Milwaukee
I have never seen a coach get so many opportunities to fail.
*EVERYONE ALREADY KNOWS RIVER'S REPUTATION AS A HEAD COACH AND STILL THEY HIRE HIM, WELL...*
To fire Mike Budenholzer was the first mistake, to not aquire Nick Nurse the second and the third one to hire Doc Rivers.
Boston easily won this trade
When gg Jackson said “I like to thabk doc rivers”😂
Doc was advising Griffin for over a month leading up to him being fired. That alone tells me he had no business being hired.
Tail wagging the dog 🐕 😅😅😅😅😅😅
Bucks management: "who could have predicted this??"
Grass isnt always greener, huh? 😂
Coldest intro in the game.. Cue the intro!!!!!
Great video, but here's another fun fact I heard after the Bucks lost to the Grizzlies. So far the Bucks had the 4th easiest schedule in the league, after All-star break they will have the 3rd toughest schedule. So either they will come together or this will get a lot worse.
I really don't understand. Dame shoots 7 for 21 vs Grizz before All Star break playing like a gassed 38 year old walking up and down the court and the young Grizz were targeting him n defence. In the All star game Dame wins MVP shooting shots after shots. He should be restings his body and taking it easy like some smarter players (Kahwai, PG, etc). I think that Dame will be low efficiency or risk injury when the season resumes. He seems to be more concerned for himself rather than winning as a team.
I like that Grizzly n double on Tundra
Nahhh this is hyperbolic.
There only issue is chemistry, watch film.
They just don’t know where they’re going and who the 1st 2nd 3rd options on a play are.
They don’t know each others habits (ex dame should roll hard for giannis then pass into the circle. Giannis needs to screen then immediately roll hard rather than lingering)
They just haven’t learned strengths and weaknesses yet.
The bucks situation is a prime example why you don’t let the players make personal decisions
So dame traded in one incompetent front office for another, boy do i feel bad for Dame. Giannas needs to take some accountability for throwing his weight around and it not working out 🤷
Bucks really have not lived up to their expectations
Expectation is championship the season not over
What worries me the most, is that Doc, doesn't take any responsibility.
Taking responsibility is what seperates the great from the average.
Perkins is nuts. He’s capping for Doc bc that’s the only reason he has a job on ESPN.
It’s almost like everyone knew exactly what was going to happen except the bucks front office
Bucks are 2-7 in their last 10 games under Doc Rivers
That makes 9 games
To me it seems like the bucks are showing a great ability of focus that focus being focusing on everyrhing going on with the team except for the actual playing the games part it is negatively impressive
As a sixers fan I know when the bucks hired doc the Sixers could take them in the playoffs now.
Thanks for Holiday though!
This is a bringing a potential curse upon your franchise level mistake
What was the issue with the prior coach. A 70% win rate is phenomenal i just don't get the change and it clearly hasn't been a good move so far. I doubt they'll turn around like the clippers
That celtics team was a backbone of thibs. He was the assistant coach. Rivers was just a star manager. Even that didnt last long
As a Heat fan, I think hiring Doc was a great move. Where’s his extension?
How this guy gets praised for his "hustle" and his crusade to promote gambling is beyond me.
The bucks have to get dame to PLAY defense. Thats all thats the key. Not steals but commit to a man on D. Saw blown coverage in the last 2 min, game tied vs memphis.
Everyone talks about Giannis and Dame, but the real issue here is probably more Dame and Lopez. I've said for years that Lopez is overrated defensively. He was overrated because he was always a poor perimeter defender and his defensive ability was much lauded only because he was able to constantly drop defend. This was enabled by Jrue, who is one of the best PG's in the NBA when it comes to fighting around screens. Because Jrue was so tenacious at getting around a screen, Lopez could drop without exposing the perimeter. His defense was bound to take a hit when Jrue departed.
However, to combine that issue the Bucks took one of the most defensively challenged PG's in the NBA as Jrue's replacement. Worse still, they don't have a great on-ball guard defender (Malik just isn't cutting it). When you look at teams that successfully run a defensively challenged PG (such as the GSW with Steph), they compensated by having a good on-ball guard defender (in that case, pre-injury Klay). The Bucks can't do this and so the Dame-Lopez pairing is very exploitable defensively. In general, Lillard is a huge weak spot on defense and what compounds the issue is that everyone knows this. Teams like Boston or Philly will likely attack Lillard ceaselessly in the playoffs either with a pick and roll or by switching him onto bigger, more athletic wings like Tatum/Brown/Harris. This will provide an easy attack route that will force Rivers to do what he does worst: make in-game adjustments.
How does this man keep getting coaching jobs mane he must know something💀💀💀
"10-13" 😂
Friendly reminder that Giannis admitted to not watching/studying game tape but wants everyone to do better. 🤦
You know there are moves that look bad before they are completed. Doc Rivers becoming coach is that.
He said at the start that they went 10-13 for the season💀 lol what
