Wonderful vid, i was thinking of getting a MX-5 aswell, but im a bit overweight and 190cm tall, been having issues with properly fitting into the car sadly. So now i got a EK9 Civic :D
MX-5 is an absolutely wonderful car. I got to drive it, and found unfortunately I felt I was just a little too big for the car. I sit better in the NC. But yeah, that is a great way to enjoy the MX-5.
Hey, I had the same issue. I'm 193 cm tall, and when I tried one RF, I was looking straight into the window frame and couldn't fit properly. I was already counting on the idea of buying different seats (the optional Recaros), but then I went to see the RF I currently own, and it obviously had the seat adjusted differently, so I managed to fit in. I also bought a seat lowering kit that drops the seat by 3 cm, which feels like the perfect solution, though I haven’t installed it yet. I used to own an NA, drove an NB, and now I have an ND. I never had the chance to try an NC. Maybe you’ll also find a way to fit into the ND, or you could consider installing a seat lowering kit - I even found versions that lower the seating position by up to 5 cm.
@@FeelTheWheelSK I am dying for an ND and have the same problem. I am 190 cm tall. Do you think the RF's have more space than the soft tops? I heard the opposite. Couldnt have the chance to try one yet. But you comment gave me some hope that I can find a way to find these cars.
@@bronzechnl Hello, 190cm sounds still good. Give a try for sure. and you could always but that seat lowering kit. Soft top has more headroom space for sure. You could also look for Revolution TOP with recaro seats - should be little lower than mine seats. Good luck!

I am 186cm. Im on the limit with the MX-5, both NC or ND. I need seat lowering kit to be comfortable in both cars.

@@FeelTheWheelSK I went ahead and bought a BMW 135is with a manual. But I still hold the ND in very high regard.
