These are absolutely fantastic, thank you! It's great to see a guide that focuses on how to play the character rather than what combos they can do, and shows how to play with good fundamentals even at lower levels. A lot of folks talk about how you can get to gold/floor 10/whatever with a solid neutral game and good basics, but no one shows how to even have a neutral game with all the YOLO silly stuff we pull at lower ranks! The matches and commentary are great! Punch Queens FTW!
I was late to picking up Street fighter 6 and just wanted to say thanks for these videos and the commentary. This has really helped me wrap my brain around the core concepts of Marissa and SF6 in general.
Appreciate the guide. As a new player I must say you didn't really cover defense and this is my biggest problem waking up with buttons and just bad defense 😂
Cheers for the comment. There are already some very good defensive guides for 6 but your right I should have covered it more. Have a look at delay tech if you have not already and as always join the discord for more help.
I appreciate the vid man. I haven't been using DR charge back heavy punch after a dima knockdown and that looks really good to start using. I was curious if you have used medium superman after a light dima knockdown. I noticed that it hits meaty and recovers in time to punish wakeup DI. Might be a good DI bait if the opponent doesn't use OD DP on wake up. Anyways I appreciate the vid and wish you luck.
Cheers dude. Regarding superman post LP Dima its not a bad idea but I'll break down why its probably not worth using. B HP is DI safe in that setup either from you cancelling it if you react quick enough or just mashing DI to come out as soon as you recover (as you will recover in time). DR B HP is a +8 situation on block giving you lots of options and control over what happens after. If B HP lands you get huge damage upwards of 40%. Superman is very reactable due to its long startup and as you say they can just OD DP. Your right it could well bait a DI and net you a nice punish but if they do just block it you just traded a +8 near point blank situation, for a +2 (+3 if they crouched) situation where you have very limited options due to the range. Then if they do end up getting hit by it you get a small chunk of damage and then need to guess again for more pressure. Join the discord if you have not already dude can always just ping me for any questions and lots of great players there.
@@SavageMarisa That makes sense. I have signed up on the discord and it has been really helpful. Thanks for taking your time with the response and good luck.
@@SavageMarisa Just wanted to say thanks for the videos and also let you know, if you haven't found out already, that forward medium punch is now been changed to -3 on block.
If they dont do something about the cheating on PC this game is done for. The amount of people with 3000 rank points that are using macros is unbelievable.
I was thinking some people are playing a bit too well in ranked but didn’t wanna be salty or underestimate their skill and my lack thereof but it honestly feels like playing robots sometimes and it’s suspicious af😂

Awesome vid! Do you play against viewers?
Not thought about it but if people had interest I would not be against it. Would like to get the series done first though.
video is crazy quiet
Same thing if u play modern ? 😅
Yes the concept of the guides the same for modern but you do lose some normals and special moves.
