I’ll keep this quick as it’s already late!! I went for a club fitting and I absolutely loved it !!. In this episode I pick my new Driver and woods .
Massive thanks to silvermere for having us. Great place, great people . Highly recommend them if you want to get fitted for clubs .

Love silvermere i was down there last week for a mates fitting and down there in 2 weeks for mine. Well done mate great choice of club.
Could see Jamie's face drop when you picked the 4 drivers up together and they were clanging together 🤣🤣

I got fitted in Nov last year for my 40th bday.. 1st time ever too.. learnt a hell of alot... got ping g425 lst driver... and mizuno irons (still waiting as issues).
Silvermere is top class got fitted for my mizuno irons there last year and it’s my regular range spot 🤙🏻

Big ange next for a fitting me thinks liked this video especially giving an incite in to the fitting process a few strokes coming off petes handicap with the more consistency looking forward to seeing it fall in the next few months.

I used to take my driver out on the course but could never hit s left it in the bag for show…..then I got the Ping g425 and it’s now my favourite club in the bag.
I’ve gone from a 26 handicap down to 15, so you could say I’m over the moon with it.

Your schoolboy like wonder and enthusiasm is so refreshing. Inquisitive, interested, fascinated - you were just in awe of the process and was great to see. Seemed like the fitting is going to help the game as well.....watch out Ange!!!

Great Choice young man , I also got fitted at Silvermere and came away with Ping G425max driver , 3 wood , 7 wood and 5 through to gap wedge irons . I’m sure you will benefit big time once the better weather arrives . Good luck buddy and great video by the way .

Knew you would end up with the Ping G425, Unbelievable driver and keeps it consistent to bring down the handicap. Honestly might end up with full ping bag by end of all this.
Yep I was one of those saying the Ping G425 driver and fairway! Just knew they were the ones for you. Really nice to see you proper happy hitting them how you hit them as wel.
Don't pay to hit a bomb on every drive accuracy is more important for a second shot ,great video lads

I had a fitting with Jamie at Silvermere in 2020 and it was amazing. Jamie was so knowledgeable and helpful, nothing was too much trouble, allowed me to try as many makes as I wanted and there was no pressure to buy any particular make or model at the end which I’m sure a lot of people would be surprised about. Jamie really wants you to find the best club for you as an individual and that’s massive these days and it’s that which will make me keep going back to Silvermere.

Interesting you’ve gone with the 5 wood, I got myself the same driver after my fitting there going soon for a wood fitting so will deffo put the 5 wood and 3 wood against each other. Look forward to seeing you down pyrford hitting some bet middlers

I got the ping g425 lst I hate the looks sound but when I get the sweet spot that thing flys for me, im not a big hitter but still makes me smile.
Love this vid. Never had a fitting and been considering having one, so it was really useful.

Well done I too have the G425 Max and love it. Yes the sound is unique but after a couple of drives you will forget that if you’re getting consistent dispersion.
I did a full bag fitting at Silvermere with Jamie back in Nov. Helped me get all the right clubs, I absolutely love them! Takes some time to arrive from the manufacturers but I'll be back out on the course soon!

Loved how he added loft and you gained yards, I have gone for a 10.5 deg driver for similar reason.
There are a few videos doing the rounds o you tube showing how altering the loft of woods also opens or closes the face depending which way you go.
Would be good to see a video where you guys play a club at the extremes of loft adjustment allowed and the impact on your shots / distance
Great stuff. Loved seeing your face as the launch explanation sank in, realised you were delivering about half the loft Jamie was after, and then saw what Ping was doing for you....which was then surpassed when you saw what a 5w can do.
It's no surprise to me that Ping was top of the recommendation list, and I'm delighted you didn't succumb to the "look at the shiny shiny" of the Cobra.
Every day is a school day, but not every school day ends up with a new driver and fairway.👍

I had a fitting at silvermere too and got the g425 driver & 3 wood. Absolutely love them and the fitters don't just try to sell you the most expensive equipment, they actually want you to have the bats that work best with you. Might look at trying a 5 wood now

Ping seem to be for the the masses. I have the G410 driver and G400 5 wood and have dropped my handicap due to the consistency of strike. Just love Ping clubs.

Great video and informative. Being new to golf I had my driver set to 9.5 but will try it at 11.5 in the range asap ( I assumed higher loft equaled less distance)

Always love the look of the ping g425, I noticed in a video with Peter finch you did back last year that he was using ping g425 and you were absolutely smashing it down the middle!

I've had that driver since it came out and it's by far my favourite club. I hit it around 250 yards and have changed the loft to 9.5 and it still gets plenty of height. Great choice great club and I wouldn't change it at all...even the mis-hits go pretty straight and I'm a 14 handicap player.
I also had the same issues with launch so ended up coming out of my Ping fitting with a “4 Wood” (5 wood head with 3 wood shaft).

Good choice the PING G425 is designed for the everyday Golfer.
PS if you got yourself some golf lessons to improve your swing (and change the position of your right hand on the grip) you could probably pick up another 20yards on those drives. I would suggest a visit to Danny Maude he would get you hitting BOMBS🚀🚀

Good choice pat. I've just got myself a cobra five wood and sometimes use it instead of the driver it's so good. Best club in the bag. The pings do look good, might try out the driver
Loving this, can imagine Pete camping outside the golf club so he can be first on the tee to get using these.
His reaction is a mixture of joy and disbelief. Can sense Ange thinking gawd gonna have some battles on the course now.
Roll on the irons and then out on the course, BUT Pete remember golf has a way of kicking you in the nuts so first time out could be a challenge

I had a fitting last week, loved the G425. so forgiving, but the new Rogue had exactly the same stats and I preferred the feel and sound..
Totally agree with this and had the same experience, a shame the viewers didn’t suggest you tried the Rogue driver. I just couldn’t get on with the sound of the ping but if it works for you then perfect! Also surprised he didn’t try you in other 5 woods (maybe he did off camera) as the comparison with the 5 vs a different brand 3 wood was a little pointless 🤷♂️ love the content 👍 looking forward to my Rogue arriving.

Great Video , I have recently received my Ping G425 Irons custom fitted , not been on the course yet but I always find Ping the most “forgiving” brand . I also have Ping G425 three wood, don’t write off the 7 wood either , great club.

I was hitting my previous driver low and short. As I mentioned previously, I was fitted for the G425 and I’m hitting it straight and more consistently a longer distance. The fact you’ve been fitted will fill you with confidence knowing that if you hit a bad drive (and you will) it’s not the driver but it’s you - and you can get lessons to probably hit better and then longer - confidence is everything

Tubes and co, i cant explain how good this video is. Im looking for a new driver and i never knew anything about launch, loft, etc. Ill be booking a fitting tomorrow! Again, smashing it guys. 👏🏻
Really good video! With your swing speed you probably should be in a regular shaft. You launching around 12 degrees with sub 2,000 spin is way off from optimized for your ball speed. Should be more like 14-15 degrees with 2,400-2,500 spin. You are leaving so much distance on the table. No one else is saying it, but this fitting only got you a portion of the way towards your potential.

Nice work tubes, I've currently had my 1st ever fitting being a 20 hcp and I ended up with the callaway rogue driver over the ping but loved every second of my fitting
