Naabuso na masyado ang student pathway. Most immigration consultants were marketing it as if it’s a sure fire way to get residency status in Canada. Most students are being taken advantage of because they’re desperate. These new rules are just some of the ways the government are using to address the after effect like over population, lack of housing affordability putting much strain on Canada’s resources (healthcare, foodbanks).
Dahil lahat ng mga international students ay umaasang maging PR, hindi na sila realistic na hindi guarantee itong pathway for PR. All the vlogs are telling them, how to game the system. Kailangan talaga reality check to everyone.
That’s why I believe that those protesters in PEI should focus their protest not towards Immigration Canada but rather towards their corrupt agencies who lured them.
Immigration consultants are trained not to guarantee anything, as it is unethical not to mention unrealistic. The ones who made these promises are mostly agencies, most of them abroad, who handle applications without license and without the guidance of RCICs or lawyers. I wouldn’t say that all RCICs are perfect, but we stand to lose our license if we do something illegal or fraudulent; these agencies are not controlled or regulated, so they can say anything.

Her advice is very useful. Skilled workers job is very much in demand so try to be a jack of all trades so when demands shifts there is always something to fall back on. Sometimes when people know a field of work is in the demand, they tend to study that field all at the same time then it becomes saturated.
There is always a chance this can happen, but I would say very slim because the in demand fields are in demand for a reason: We all need them, and we all need them forever.

Yes I still do. But, the applicants will have to be prepared financially, meaning they should have actual funds to bring to Canada instead of just "showing" it. Choosing to study to join an in demand industry is also advisable, as well as opting to move to a city or province with less people, thereby less competition.
