Pierce the Veil would be interesting, since they're one of the few rock bands that debuted in the 2010s and somehow manage to get big in the era where rock was dying and hardly nobody was promoting newer rock bands and started to promote the older ones.

This takes me back. It’s interesting to hear the perspective on this era of someone who was younger than me; I used to listen to this stuff when I was 19-22 and on a lot of drugs, haha. Some adjacent artists I used to listen to on the electropop side of this kinda thing were stuff like Breathe Carolina, 3OH!3, Medic Droid, etc. Myspace was such a wild time to be alive.

I can’t even lie, I wasn’t part of the scene or anything, (e.g up until a couple months ago death of a bachelor was the only panic album I’d ever listened to)but this channel is now one of my favourites on TH-cam, and I feel like I’m finally hitting my scene faze in my early twenties, and I couldn’t be happier for it. Fun times. I still make a living off the songs I released on my myspace page. My 2005-2007 era songs still make the most $. I was in the dirty south rap corner of MySpace though lol. But I was very aware of the emo/scene/crunkcore pages. I even went to high school with Dahvie Vanity from BOTDF and did a song with him when he was still into rap.
