Don't let the Drive-Inns Die! Drive-Inns were created in the United States and are part our of history. If you have a drive-in close to you go on and visit it, go as a big group if possible, and don't forget to hit the snack bar, this helps keep the owners in business. Going to watch a movie like this is not just about seeing a movie it's about the whole experience. I have been going to the drive inn movies for 50 years and it is a great way to have fun with the whole family. If I could own and operate one I would not hesitate to do so. Have fun at the drive- in yall!!
I have 2 DVD's with Intermission ads on them. Plus, during the Summer, i watch these TH-cam videos all the time. I even put them on in my Chevy and have the sound of it going through my speakers.
Spent some time with family, at UA Westbury Drive In. Twenty-some years later I became a UA theatre manager. Just before the location was demolished I took pictures. I even climbed up the screens and took shots looking down. The location is now a Regal Indoor Multiplex. The UA Westbury Drive-In was the last of Drive-Ins, in Long Island.
Ok, this is SLICK! I've been watching a lot of Drive-In videos lately but this takes the cake! I actually Screen Share my phone to my Canon Rayo Pico Projector and point it at the wall to boost the effect. Ironically the Vali-Hi Drive in the Twin Cities in Minnesota (the last Drive-In I went to) has a Digital Cinema Projector With Texas Instruments DLP chips in it...and my Canon Rayo Projector does too, although simpler.
Hey thanks! That's so cool! Last Halloween, I projected one of my horror mix videos on the front of our house while we gave out candy. It was a fun vibe.
Snack Bar Refreshment Concessioner Counter Stand treats during Intermission Time before Showtime in Drive-In Movie Theaters across the entire U.S.A. from the 1950s to 1970s: Popcorns Hamburgers Hotdogs Corndogs Pizza Candy Bars Ice Cream Hot Coffee Hot Chocolate Soda (Coke, Orange Juice and Lemon-Lime Flavors) Cigarettes
The setting is the reason for the video. You can find most of the raw intermission content elsewhere on TH-cam or Archive.org if you want to see that by itself. My ambience videos are to create a sense of immersion.
The one and only drive-in in my city closed down permanently tonight. I'm heartbroken but happy I can have this video for comfort. Thank you❤
Really well done, yes the light off, on the big TV monitor and little imagination and we are right there, thanks for this
GREAT MEMORIES!! THOSE WERE THE DAYS!! I CAN STILL SMELL THE SNACK BAR😀😀

You could put in a couple of full-length public domain movies for the complete drive-in double feature experience; I'd totally watch it!
Legal!!!!!!!!!!

Great, but why the tiny image? We get the drive in simulation thing you're going for, but after a few seconds I just want to see the full sized image.
