I did my mother in law's toenails and used the holo taco set with the peely base coat and several popped of by the next morning! I didnt realize its for short term and easy removal. It is very easy to peel off, thats for sure. LOVE all the Holo taco collection though!

I tend to get really thick nails with their dip powders, but it could also be me applying too thick of a base coat. Thanks again for another great video!
Sunnie Baker i agree! though i love holo, iridescent is underrated! i have actually never tried kiara sky powders but i definitely hope to in the future. to avoid thick nails with dip powder, thin layers are key! using these powders i didn’t end up with thick nails which i really liked :)
How easily did the dip nails peel off with the peel off base coat? I love dip nails but HATE the removal so a peel off base coat would be really nice. However, I don't want it to peel off too soon.

that is normally how i remove my dip nails. however another method i really like is applying a peely base coat underneath for super easy removal without acetone.
@@lindac.142 it definitely does not. i'd say typically my nails with the peel off base coat last only a couple days. if you really want a long lasting manicure, the only few options would be soak off with acetone/polish remover or file off.
I like doing chrome powders on my nails at what step would I apply the ? I want a solid colour then a chrome finish do I put it on before my top coat ?
I noticed that you did not apply the activator before applying the gel top coat. Some other dip powders requires the activator before the top coat. Does this one not require it?

yes! i actually prefer using gel top coat over my dips because i feel the shine lasts longer! all you need to do differently is roughen up the surface of the dip powder slightly so the gel has something to grip onto. then apply your gel top, cure and you’re all done!

Maysaa Mousa i really like sparkle and co glossy coat for an actual dip powder top coat, but personally i like to add a gel top coat to get a really shiny finish. i like the onedor no wipe gel top which can be bought on amazon :)
Hey 💕, I ordered a gel kit from them about 3 and a half months ago. I watched another youtuber use the same kit I ordered so I thought I should order it too. I spent over $60 on everything. I signed up but when I refreshed the page, my email I just used said there was a error when logging in. I got the email saying my order is on the way but my tracking order was wrong. hmmm. make sure you properly prep the nails by pushing back the cuticles, removing the excess dead skin, gently buffing the surface of the nail and dehydrating it with acetone or alcohol. when applying the product make sure it isn’t too thick and it doesn’t touch the skin. hope this helps!

She does a great job and it looks beautiful! HOWEVER, this is suuuuch a pointless video if you're a beginner looking for help.. Find a video where they tell you do's and don'ts and how to fix your mistakes!!! she makes it look very easy- if you've never done it before you'll probably go in over-confident and it will end up being a mess. She doesn't mention to be careful to not get the base near your cuticles or the edge of your nails - you REALLY have to make a point of this and not slap it on. Otherwise it'll get all over the edge of your nails and it is very hard to remove and have it look smooth and even. This is NOT the video for you if you've never done it before. However, she does make it look really nice and proves the kit is a good one if you know what you're doing! but DO NOT go off this video if you're a beginner.....
there is nothing you can really use in place of activator. however, you can use gel liquids and avoid activator altogether if you prefer. i have a video on that technique :)

you can use nail tips!

hi! you would apply the powder, apply the gel top coat, cure, buff in the chrome, apply another layer of gel top coat and cure!

Unfortunatly as soon as i apply activator the part closest to the cuticles looses color its like the activator moves it

How is the top coat gel if it "dried" and you didn't use an left lamp to cure it?
it would never dry. it needs a light to be cured and hardened!

no. dip powder does not need to be cured. if you apply a gel top at the end, that would need to be cured.

i totally recommend trying it! as for shipping time, i am not completely sure. i assume a few weeks.

hi! this is probably due to the fact that the dip nails are too thin. they don’t have enough structure, and when they bend they will crack 🤍
Does it need the lap ?? For the topcoat
for a dip powder top coat, you do not need to cure in a lamp. if you're using a gel product (uv/led), it will need to be cured with a lamp.
Is there a brand of tips that would work well with this kit?
i really like the makartt clear tips you can find on amazon! they work really well with all kinds of dip powder.

How would you remove these. Without the removal base coat
you would file down the surface and then soak off using acetone and foil/nail soak off clips with cotton.
